  1. They have these 20% off everything sale for eBay pretty often?
  2. I know this is off topic but I need to ask the OP- has anyone ever mentioned that you look like Kevin bacon?
  3. Wow what a day of fishing, nice fish! I wish I could come across a day like that! I would have a hole in my kayak from dragging it to that pond so much if I lived out there.
  4. I think he was saying that its $20 0ff its original price. not $20 for the reel.
  5. not yet I asked him to send me a picture of it but hes probably sleeping, hopefully later today
  6. I had a buddy who caught a fish that completely swallowed the hook to where I could barely see the eye of the hook. I told him I know a trick to get the hook out it was so far down I could even turn the hook to pop it up through the gills. Has anyone had this happen? Was there anyway I could of saved that ish? So I made him keep it and he ate it for dinner.
  7. A buddy of mine got a bait that looks just like the MS slammer and he cant remember where he got it or what its called. I looked online everywhere and cant find it. I know its not the uncle mannys minnow because those don't have the soft plastic tails. This bait that he has comes with a soft plastic tail just like the slammer, but the nose of the bait is a little different than the slammer. It is more narrowed towards the nose whereas the slammer is more round. Thanks for any help you can provide, much appreciated.
  8. I just got a super duty and 2 super duty wide spools and I love them. They are super smooth and they cast a lot further than my revo-s and johnny morris signature series. The only thing that I don't like is the spool tensioner on them. I have to really crank it down just to hold my 6" hudd. I thought it would be a little stronger holding those large baits. Has anyone else noticed that when throwing large swimbaits on the superduty? I also got a couple mach 2's and those things can cast weightless soft plastics a mile. I couldn't believe how far I was slinging those things.
  9. Awesome! Thanks a bunch guys it's rough having a reel out of commission. I'm going to To look to buy the worm gear and pawl right now. Are they universal parts to baitcasters? Or do I need to look for specific parts for the pro qualifier?
  10. Im sure this has been covered here numerous times but i tried to search for it but the search is too narrow and i cannot find a post and i even searched through countless pages on this sub forum and i still couldn't find anything. I have a Gen 1 BPS Pro Qualifier and when i reel my line in it only spools to the left side. Sometimes it will unlock and spool towards the right but it always gets stuck on the left side and my line just piles up. I would like to get this fixed but i cannot figure out for the life of me what the part is called. I even when on bps site and asked if they could help but i still haven't gotten a response. So if anyone can help me get this figured out i will appreciate it. Thanks
  11. Someone is selling a halo twilite for $50 in the flea market I believe it's a 7'3" mh, they retail for $150
  12. I just picked up this reel from a buddy and I tried to do some research online and I couldn't find this particular reel for sale. I could only find the newer version which is black. Anybody know how much this reel cost when it was sold brand new for example what it was listed for at tackle warehouse or any other main retailer? im not interested in selling it just wanted to know the price. thanks for any feedback
  13. Not sure if I read that correctly, but he wants someone to hook into a good fish with his cremated ash infused bait and before they land the fish cut the line so the fish is stuck swimming with a lure in its mouth?
  14. Solid advice bulletman, that's exactly what I was thinking too. It's a tough decision. My buddy has a ranger in the mid 2000's with a 200hp motor and he has had it since it was brand new and he takes care of his boat really well it's in pristine condition but lately he's been having issues with it when we go out. Last few times we launched and we weren't able to fish because some wiring in the trolling motor went bad and the other time his lower unit went out and he had to replace it. So if I were you I would go with the new boat and warranty. But if I were to buy a used ranger I would be very patient and wait for the right boat that has only had one owner who takes great care of all of his stuff.
