  1. Great tutorial James, only knot I use when punching. If I may ask what's the easiest way to cut a braid snell knot off the hook. I have the hardest time cutting or untying it from a punching hook with the freaking bait keeper in the way.
  2. BPS World Wide Sportsman convertible fishing pants.
  3. I use Berkley 100% Flourocarbon Stren Flourocarbon for leader Power Pro and Power Pro Slick 8 for braid
  4. Agree with you @Glenn, I have a few of their products (Stealth bc, SharkyII spinner on Perigee rods), and haven't had an issue with them yet. Caught me plenty of fish on them. Just purchased 3 of their Royal Legend BC rods (which will replace my hodgepodge of different name brand rods on my boat matched up with my Lews reels) and a Speed Demon BC. I think along the line as you with these bad reviews, there might be a few legit complaints, but I think more are competitors or competitor "Fan Bois" bashing for no good reason. Do I think their reels are better than my Lews, no but they are great for the budget minded fisherman. As for me, I use them for my bank fishing excursions. If they get banged up I don't have to spend a ton of money to replace them.
  5. My recent booty... Took advantage of TW sale on some Senkos, and threw in the Winn Grip accessories. Got a discount on the 3 KK Royale Legend rods, and KK Speed Demon reel from the Amazon Prime Day Sale, and threw in the Rod Gloves and KK Lip Grips. Purchased e few packs of VMC 1 weedless Neko Rig hooks, nail weights and Tungsten drop shot weight from Dicks.
  6. Well aged, like a fine cheese?
  7. NRS Chinook, high back and comfortable even in warm weather.
  8. Wacky rigged Senko *UPDATE 8/7/2019* And a Neko rigged Senko
  9. I'm with ya... BLECH! Getting the Heebee Jeebees just looking at it...
  10. I use the low freeboard type fenders.
  11. Unless they recently changed the rules here in NJ, you don't need a boating license unless you are going to be off shore. If you are going to be on inland bodies of water you ONLY need to take the boating safety course if your boat is powered by a motor that is over 10 hp. I stand corrected, you do need to take the Boat Safety Course for any motorized vessel. When I went for my Boat Safety Course I did so because I knew I would have a boat with a motor greater than 10hp, but that was 3 years ago... so it might of changed. The license I'm still sure about. I don't have a boaters license and I've been checked twice by the Marine Patrol with no problems.
  12. I have that one (Co Pilot) as well!
  13. Got them, but haven't used them yet.
  14. ZOOM Magnum Trick Worms as well
  15. Tough day, only managed this guy and a snot rocket. Gave it a little tickle with my pinky so it would raise his dorsal (Always saw Dave Mercer do this... It actually works lol) One thing I've noticed from all the Largmouth I catch from this particular lake, they all have bronze backs. Must be the tanins in the water I guess... Or sun burn...
  16. Thats a swimbait Bammy rig rod. I have a few KK rods but their ratings are a little on the heavy than actual side. Their Royale Legend Heavy is more MH.
  17. Obviously yeah, but they're not known for $400 fishing rods. What I'm trying to get at is I'm pretty sure Brent Chapman will do just as good with Kastking brand rods as if he would with GLoomis brand rods.
  18. I use Stren Flouro for leader and use an Alberto knot or a albright knot, and havent had issues.
  19. I don't know who would spend that kind of money on a rod unless it's your livelihood, but that's even debatable. Shoot, Brent Chapman is fishing with Kastking now.
  20. My plastics are Green Pumpkin whatever, and Black and Blue. That goes for my jigs as well with some brown mixed in. I do carry the rando bright neon colored jig if the black blue doesnt work in the stained water.
  21. Thought it was Rex Ryan's brother...
  22. Ordered some Winn Grip for my rods and reels a couple of packs of VMC tungsten drop shot weights 6 packs of VMC size 1 weedless Neko hooks (use them for wacky as well) 6 packs of Senkos (I'm a believer now) 15 painted swim jig heads from Siebert so I can throw on my own skirts. 2 Kastking Perigee II rods casting/ and spinning
