  3. That's actually the North Haledon Reservoir or as it is now called the Franklin Lakes Nature Preserve. This is on the Ewing ave side of the resi.

  6. ...and it was'nt me It was caught on that expensive Spiderman combo you see at the bottom right using a crappie chartruese plastic with an orange and chartruese jig head. We went back to the resi I went to on Saturday when it was pouring. He and his mom were behind me in the cove and I was on the lake side with my quasy fancy gear catching nothing. To note though they way I heard it it was a bedding bass my son was spotting and she was agitating it with the jig... so in my book they were cheating.
  7. I need my raw thumb fix.
  8. So I can get bit, and lip one already.
  9. I need a spot like that.

  11. Up here I've been getting strikes, but so far no lippers on CBs and Space Monkeys.
  12. I'm pretty sure I will be one of them when I get my first boat.
  13. I wouldn't be skunked this year :cry4:That's been the story of my year so far. So Decided to ignore the bad weather and go out to the reservoir today, and do my bank dance around 6pm. Went to a part of the resi I haven't been yet, looks like a canal but it dead ends so maybe its a creek. Was using a Xcaliber cx 200 craw square bill felt that puppy bouncing of timbers and would pause a half a sec after each timber hit and continue. So at the last piece of timber in front of me I pause and boom I see the strike and the fish so I engage then... spits the crank. that was in the first 20 minutes being there plus I got poured on and hailed on... no rain coat...then it started thundr'n and lightn'....so I hauled backside. Still had a good time though.
  14. Yeah it does suck done it a few times, but try this if you get a lure stuck in a tree. I have one of those telescoping paint roller extension and hose clamped a heavy duty hook at the end, it doesn't have to be a fishing hook any good sturdy hook will do. Just leave it in your vehicle or go back the next day and retrieve your lures out of the tree. Have done it several times with success retrieving lures out of trees. It also helps if you carry an extra rod with you, makes a great retrieval tool also. Now for the ones that get stuck under water... swim at your own risk.
  15. He probably owns a couple of Mcds franchises.
