  1. Bumped again.. They are on sale at Dick's for $7.50. If you need a Jig right away, and can't wait for delivery heres your chance to try one out. Bought two today, but I got them for like 5 bucks because of my rewards discount and survey coupon. I actually went to Dick's to see if they had some Arky Jigs from Strike King or somebody to try out before I made an order to Sieberts, and I wanted them for tomorrow. They did'nt have any in the color I wanted (black/blue... the bass have been killing this color lately) so I saw these in the B/BL, and they were on sale plus my discounts so it wasnt a bad price. It's not a true Arky but similar. These are just spur of the moment filler, I will still be ordering from Seibert Once the fishing for me stops up here which will be soon... unless I had a boat I could be out longer... Next year Boostr, next year... I keep on telling myself. Just a heads up is all.
  2. As .Ghoti. put it "Buy more stuff". Gonna make a big ole' Siebert purchase this winter. Hey Mike, make room in your cash register!.... Also service my equipment.
  3. Sorry about the thread Jack C&G
  4. I bought the 3x 3x #3 and #6 are those too stout?
  5. I was gonna say dunk it underwater.
  6. I fish from the bank so I've caught my share of dinks, but lately these past couple of months I've been pulling in the bigger ones. I was fishing with one dude over in Rockaway off of Green Pond Rd, and he pulled in a 5 lbr. I was like man that could of been me. So I know they are there.
  7. I know they are out there, I've seen them watching me.
  8. Almost a 2 and a halfer that's about the average size I've been catching. My PB is a little over 2 and a half. Anything 2 lbs and up in Jersey is a darn nice catch. If I catch a 3lbr and up I'll pee my panties.
  9. Shweeet, that's definitely primo top water frog territory. I was like you, my first hollow body frog fish wasn't big either. Now that frog set up will go with you every where because everywhere is where the weeds, mats, and pads are. I don't leave home without it.
  10. Went to a new to me lake on Friday. It was around 68°, and the water maybe lower 60s upper 50s.Threw out everything cranks, spinners, jerks, top waters, and nothing was biting until I rigged up a Black/Blue Strike King Hack Attack jig with a Black/Blue Rage Chunk, and just hoped it off the bottom. Felt the lightest tap and swung for the fences. Not the biggest, but made my day or the couple of hours I fished.
  11. Caught this one and only at a new to us lake on Friday. A good one for a slow couple of hours.
  12. As I rapidly and repeatedly click the "Dislike This" button
  13. Try a Craw type bait, Used a Jig and Craw caught me a 2 and a halfer today. Did'nt see any Bream or anything around, and there arent any shad in this area.
  14. Great responses. Well took my new HJ 10 I bought today and tied it on the 6'6" M/F Fenwick Eagle on braid wit a FC leader, and it worked pretty well until the third cast where it got caught on some grass or weeds. I tried to pop it free, and I had Alberto knot failure at the FC leader (operator error) Bye bye HJ. I seem to always have bad luck with Rapala lures for some reason.
  15. Definetly will, I was asking because I had that rod laying around. I was just wondering to see if it was in the ball park. I am getting to a point where I'm starting to switch over to Technique spec rods. I do have a MH/MF Crankbait rod but I think its a little to whippy to be jerking around so to speak unless thats the way it should be. Thanks for the info guys.
  16. Would a M/F 6'6 be fine '
  17. What power and action for a suspending Husky Jerk 10 or the like.
  18. I have one, it does fill with water quickly. It walks nice, but there aren't really any mice where I fish. Maybe if it was like a chipmunk or ground squirrel it would get hit.
  19. I usually say Aw, crap!
  20. We're gonna have to start wearing bank PDFs
  21. I've caught the usual Pickeral or Pike. I don't mind catching Pike as long as they don't break off my lures.
  22. I wouldn't mind at all going bass fishing, and hooking up on a Tarpon our or Snook.
  23. Nice, did the same thing, went out after the rain. Only caught a pickeral and a dink. Fell good to go out though.
  24. Time to start digging up the backyard...
