  1. Compared to my last hobby which was hot rodding my Mustang, This is way cheaper. What I spent on that vehicle, I could of bought a nice tin and some reel fancy gear. I'm still not done with the ride, it just needs minor stuff to complete, but now I'm into my new hobby, Bass Coraling.
  2. Would that be because of other's wake?
  3. Ordered an Invicta diver... Err, oops wrong forum... Well I'm here already, now I will be able to see what time I get on the water and how long it takes to catch nothing, and then what time I get off the water in style...
  4. You see the color a lot more once it's in the water.
  5. Which is better for a 16" welded MV tin like a Tracker Grizzly, Lowes Roughneck for examples. Not asking who makes a better boat, just want to know your guys opinion what is better on those type of tins.
  6. I go according to water color, clear water Greens and browns, dark or murky water Black and blue flake. I have seen somewhere they also change color according to what they eat or the color of the bottom composition of the body of water that they live in.
  7. I do a lot. Then I wake up sad...
  8. First time I ordered from them. I just received them, and haven't fished hair jigs before, but there customer service is great. I'll give you the story, I ordered these in the First and received confirmation that they were sent on the second. A week later nothing, sent an e mrdail he got back to me the next day saying the shipment was returned to them because the label was torn. He tells me don't worry about it I'll send it 2 day service and throw in something extra. Get the package 2 days later with an extra bag of 3 hair jigs. I call that great cs. They are in the pick with No Charge written on the label. I'll pm you the web site. Actually travis23 on here turned me on to the web site, when I was looking into hair jigs for small mouth. They look pretty good. I ended up ordering buck tail jigs and a couple of Maribou jigs.
  9. Nope, I just bring my gear.
  10. I just received Finesse jigs from Siebert..Do you use the same retrieves with these as you would with regular Jigs?
  11. 2014 being a whole full year for me, I spent plenty...
  12. Same as above, but I'm starting to get into Smallmouth fishing for the first time this time of the year. Like Turtle said "smallmouth are a different animal when it comes to cold water"
  13. If your talking Jig and Craw, I flip and pitch them in or near the junk (stumps, laydowns). I try skipping them under over hangs, docks, low bridges, and in drainage pipes. I'll flip it and see if they take it on the fall or on the dead stick. I'll also do a hop, hop stop retrieve, and wait for the tap, This is when I get most of my strikes. The important thing I've learned is no matter how slight the tap or feeling is, set the hook.
  14. Manns has baby bass up the wazoo!
  15. I can fish a Black and Blue Flake up herein late summer early fall when the water is stained with a muddy bottom. Any green type will work in the clearer water in the spring and early summer
  16. I say put some trebles on the box, and see if that thing will catch anything
  17. I have the MH/M, and it works well. I like the feel of it. I had the same question, and What I have been told it's the way Glass type rods are made, thicker towards the butt end then a graphite rod.
  18. Up here I only have success with Bluegill, Perch, and Baby Bass colors. I do carry a Firetiger and a Shad color just to have something different just in case, but don't realy use them.
  19. I'm gonna try some River Smallie fishing.
  20. Yes we need to be able to cast 3 football fields... and for what?
  21. I say 18, but 19 if you include the pond...
  22. Check out the Tracker Grizzly Sportsman 1548 and 1648 They come with 25hp tillers with or without power lift, sponsons, casting deck, covered floor, rod box, removable gun box (Which can be used for storage if you don't hunt), and is prewired for a TM.
