    Ned Rig ?s

Just found a shop that isn't DSG, that stocks these things. They didn't have green pumpkin so I went with bk/bl and PBJ. How do Zman plastics do in cold water?
  2. Needs one, have a pond I go to that have them suckers swimming around.
  3. I have neither around me, so I don't care. I don't even buy to much from them online. i usually hit up Dick's the town over, or hit up Gander, another site, or TW on the interwebs. I just found a nice mom and pops place 30 min from the house that has a real nice selection of equipment and baits that I cant get at Dicks so they will be getting my cash also if I don't want to pay or wait for shipping.
  4. Spent it all at Siebert's the same night, on some Derockers, Arky , and swim jigs
  5. THE BAIT GODS WERE LOOKING OUT FOR ME! So to make a long story longer... I've been saving for a FF so I haven't spent any money on other fishing related items for the past month and a half, and it might be another month before i can buy the FF. The struggle is reel . Anywho, out of the blue my lovely wife comes to me with a 50 dollar Mastercard gift card... (Drops mic and walks away)

    Kayak Net

I use a Dick's "El Cheapo" net. Works great for me, but I rarely use treble baits.
  7. Go on youtube, there are plenty of vids of how to tie down a kayak.
  8. Good tid bit to know about the Rangers
  9. You can try the Raymarine WiFish it sets up like a traditional fishfinder on your vessel. Instead of a display unit, it's the WiFi antenna. And it uses DI or whatever Raymarine calls it.
  10. Nice, you must of inspected that boat in and out before you bought it. Fiberglass boats are tricky when they are older.
  11. I think thats thier newer trolly. I bought mine before that one came out. That is a nice system though.
  12. I'm really liking the way a Rage Craw or Chunk rigged sideways moves.
  13. It's been hard staving off the Bait Monkey, and Tackle Toad, but I have to save up for the Electronics Gorilla so I can get my Humminbird Helix 5 SI.
  14. 90 percent Siebert jigs, 10 percent other lure types.
  15. I use them when I'm on soft bottom, I also realized they go out of whack when you're skipping a jig, so I removed those. I might start ordering them on my swim jigs though.
  16. That's a plus living up North, the great scenery thru the seasons. Not so great when it gets colder, and the water is hard, but you get to catch up on your maintenance, and order all the cool stuff you get to use for next season.
  17. Went and did some bank fishing with an angler friend this past Saturday. Had some nice scenery at a small resivoir you have to hike up to for a good ten minutes. He and I only managed to get one each, but it was good times. Caught this guy in the shallows on a Siebert swim jig in Sunfish with a Blue Craw Rage Chunk rigged sideways.
  18. Those are good, Yak-Gear makes a nice one also, check out thier Deluxe Anchor Trolly Kit.
  19. It does take getting used to. I stand 100% of the time when I'm fishing, and playing a fish. I only sit when I'm paddeling, (unless I paddeling standing up to maintain position) or landing a fish. I'm still figuring out how high to hold my rod, how much line to leave out when i net a fish. When I wasn't using a net I would flip the fish in the yak, and have to little line out. So trying to keep a fish from trying to jump back in the water or trying to lip and remove the hook while trying to release line from your real can be a pain. The net in this case is very important.
  20. I have no problem walking a bait in my yak... but then again it 36" wide. ALWAYS WEAR YOUR PFD!
  21. It's not a tuma...
  22. You also got to remember that BPS has 2 different stores, a mega, and an outpost. The Mega having the restaurant and or bar, plus the candle shop etc with the larger selection of gear, then the outpost is smaller with non of the frills and less gear. Op might be comparing an outpost to the Walmart.
  23. 7.5" Lew's aluminium pliers, suckers are big, and a 3700 series Plano Spinner bait box.
  24. Great story, and nice fish. Hopefully it will all be great again.
  25. Pimp my yak With electronics so I can find the big girls in the deeper waters, get a HMF cranking rod for deep cranking to get the said big girls, get deep diving cranks for the big girls, and order some more jigs from Sieberts just in case the big girls don't want the crank.
