  1. They work, my buddy in Florida was killing it with that lure.
  2. Ok, back to showing your ride...
  3. Unless maybe you are in a body of water that borders 2 states like the Delaware River then you might need it I guess...
  4. I went to the DMV Web site and this is what it say: What Not to Register Non-motorized inflatable devices. Non-motorized surfboards. Non-motorized dinghies. Non-motorized racing shells. Non-motorized canoes and kayaks
  5. And there you have it folks...
  6. You can try plastic coated cables, they won't stretch
  7. Just use a bigger piece of plywood and mount hooks or eyes at the corners attach your rope or cable to the eyes and attach all four sides to the winch hook, and it should go up nice and straight. Just make sure the kayaks center of gravity is ballanced on the platform.
  8. Yes, I know that to be true, but here kayaks don't need to be. Unless you motorize it. Just want to let the guy know if he ain't gonna motorize it that he doesn't have waste his money on registering it.
  9. Are you still residing in this fine state of Jersey?
  10. Ok, then you know what I mean then. Not needed unless motorized.
  11. Maybe, I was wondering cause I live in Jersey and it's a Jersey registration which is not needed.
  12. Here's my craft, right after I rigged her up. A Feelfree Lure 11.5
  13. Why do you have a reg. number on the yak? Do you motorize it.
  14. How far does the transducer stick out from the bottom of the hull. Are you hitting bottom with the transducer in this pic.
  15. Look into the Chinook pfd from NRS, I think Chad Hoover wears this pfd plus some different styles from the NRS brand. For a paddle you cant go wrong with BB or an Adventure Technologies. I own the Feelfree Lure 11.5, and think it's pretty awesome. The Wildey ATAK is another bad @$$ craft, and the size your looking for.
  16. I think the the ATAK actually has a "rod locker" that opens at the rear, but as buzzed bait mentioned you can't access it while fishing. It's more of a storage for travel type of "rod locker". I actually own the Feelfree Lure 11.5, it's a great craft, but it ain't gonna win you any races, it does track well for a yakthat wide, It's superbly stable even in wake, the seat sits like a Lazyboy.
  17. The spinners are top notch, I have quite a few of them.
  18. They are great as jig trailers, used them in the spring for a smaller presentation, and they couldn't leave their lips off of them.
  19. Maybe Falcon Lake, the red and green pumpkin mix gives it brown color.
  20. PBJ for my browns B2B for my greens And Black/Blue I have all three off these colors in Derocker, and Arky. Swim jigs: Bluegill Golden Shiner Bream Sunfish Bloody Shad And Bumble Bee with rattles (for muddy water or night time)
  21. I'm gonna have to try that one, I know Siebert carries that color.
  22. You have to remember that this would be a more suttle bait, like Skeet Reese mentioned in that YouTube clip. The appendages don't flap as violently as a Structure Bug would. Maybe the fish you throwing the Pit Boss to want something more aggressive, like a SK Structure Bug, or a Rage Craw/ Chunk. Personally I use both the Boss, and the Bug. Just depends what they are in the mood for. Just a thought to consider.
  23. Green Pumpkin, PBJ, Black/Blue flake, Watermelon
  24. We up here deserve it since we got pounded the last 2 years.
