  1. Now I know where some off these bass get their sores from...
  2. Rage Tail
  3. Our haul this past week. Yes that is the Potomac, Virginia side. The rest are home in Jersey.
  4. Even caught a couple from the Potomac in DC on our family trip. Can you tell which one he caught... Not the one on the left. Those DC fish were tough to land cause the river was on the out tide. The bank was about 6 to 7 feet above the water. I pretty much had to hand line my fish up to the bank so I wouldn't break my rod trying to lift it out, and to prevent the fish from hitting the rocks. Same thing with his fish which he caught from a bridge with no accessible bank. Interesting releases to say the least. The second was at a local lake, and the last was on our boat on Sunday... He's the only one who caught something.
  5. There is a spot in Rockaway off of Green Pond Rd where they have some giant gills for up here.
  6. Could also be Red ear sunfish. Redear and Ps can be tough to distinguish sometimes. Some people say that Red ear are southern Ps.
  7. I ain't cutting that out, I spend way to much money on braid for it to be cut out. I'll sit there and untangle that mess. I don't care how long it takes. If I have another rod with me I'll do it at home.
  8. I use the VMCs. I Only use them on chunky plastics, but I could see them destroying narrow worm type plastics.
  9. Good thread, I'm working on a bank box myself. For around here I would load it with 3/0 and 5/0 wide gap, straight shank circle gap hooks, plastic frog hooks, and some whacky hooks, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2oz worm sinkers, a few glass beads, 1/8 and 1/4oz shakeys, 1/2oz bk/bl and blue craw jigs @ 3 of each. Some gr pumpkin Rage Chunks/Craw, a few different types of worms, some Zoom Horney Toads, and a couple of hollow body frogs.
  10. Strange, Iv'e been with Photobucket for 4 years, and I never got a notice about their new policy. I do have an account, but not one I pay for.
  11. Test I just posted this pic from Photobucket... So what's the issue.
  12. Did this guy get attacked by lampreys?
  13. I would have to buy a cover for that cover.
  14. Awesome, slime the the crap out of it.
  15. Did you just cut and paste... Great boat by the way. You know, I never really thought about the profile of the Talon or Power Pole in this way. I know they were powered and worked differently, but not about one getting in the way of landing a fish. I have a Talon, not because I wanted a Talon but because I wanted a pole anchor, and my boat happened to come with a Talon. Now I'm so much happier that it did.
  16. I pooh in blue
  17. Any of you guys use Photobucket? That's what I've always used and never had an issue.
  18. All those LMBs look exactly the same size.
  19. The seat base slid up a little? Mine came off all the way, and when I put it back on the bottom of the seat and the lever were pressing down on the release button... Didn't matter, I couldn't fix it either way so I had to get a new one. Glad it worked out for ya.
  20. I'm staying at a house on the Schoharie Creek (in the back yard), did some wading but haven't seen any fish (just fingerlings and fry). Didn't know home owner's owned parts of the creek (received the stink eye from some crotchety old lady) I'm near the Carr rd/st bridge. Where is a good spot for smallmouth right now? I'm using spinning gear.
