  1. daiwa lexa - $120 abu garcia s model - $130 penn battle reel - $100 all reels i listed are cheap but very good quality also check out the penn fierce reel its 60 buck and better than some 200 reels, good luck on your purchase.
  2. well i only use now the red, blue and the premier lines, tatsu only fail me once but it was user error. dude, its whatever. im going to die using seaguar and no one can change it period. Im done here.
  3. thats bad A**!! technology now a days.
  4. I used every line on the market including tatsu and sunline sniper, and i had bad experience with them, the only fluoro line that never let me down is seaguar. just like the only braid that never let me down is suffix, just like the only gear brand that never let me down is daiwa, abu garcia and penn. im loyal to what treats me right. i can keep going on but you get the point.
  5. lol. im not trying to be a teacher im just strong minded about my things. i also have alot or experience. i fish almost everyday for over 5 years now, and i have used every tackle product in the book. majority failed me and i dont tolerate products that are garbage.
  6. this does not state that seaguar flouro did not invent it. look i dont want any problems.. its all cool. my argument is finish.
  7. i was being sarcastic and repeating what he said, seaguar did invent fluorocarbon. you can look it up. i know my tackle.
  8. seaguar didnt invent fluorocarbon lol, dude do your research before you speak and give false information. and can you show me where it says that sunline make their own fluorocarbon line?
  9. nope, they rely on other resources to make their f/c line, kind of like a middle man. seaguar its the only manufacture that makes their own from factory. you can google it if you want. im speaking facts here
  10. jigs, slow lures since water temp is colder
  11. of course you can, one thing to mention is that you has 2 or 3 days left, the water does not get cold right away it takes a few days of cold weather. so theres a 2 or 3 days of a window.
  12. when i said the rolex and rolls royce of fluorocarbon line i referring to the seaguar brand, not the red label, if you dont like it them its just preference, but you cant say that its a bad line just because user error. like i said before, its the inventor of fluoro and its the only company that make there own fluoro line in their own factory. I look for only the best products out there, and only the best.
  13. me too, i use red label just for leader material, i use this line with over 100 pound tarpon and never let me down, it really is the Rolex and the rolls Royce of all fluorocarbon lines.
  14. your welcome, try it you will love it, seaguar is the inventor of fluorocarbon and its the only f/c company that make their own line from the factory.
  15. the only contact between you and the fish is line and hook, so it has to be one of those or both, so my guess is, maybe a harder hookset or the hooks are not sharp enough... It cant be the rod or reel. i have gotten fish (mexican style) line on a pepsi-cola and a hook, and still catch fish.
  16. seaguar makes the best fluorocarbon line, red label is a good choice, look it up on ebay maybe you get it for cheap
  17. revo s is a very good reel, i have friends that have that reel and he swears by it, he loves it. very good choice
  18. I would keep that in mind, i will get the 7 ratios, i like super fast burners. thanks for the advise
  19. Awesome info, Im going to buy a baitcaster very soon since im a spinning guy, and this actually helps me, i would be considering one those reels. hope you keep catching those big females. tight lines
  20. your correct, g.loomis and st. croix make saltwater rods but they are primarily a freshwater company so they stared making freshwater rods and for business, they started making saltwater rods
  21. A buddy of mines went to a local tournament like a year ago and believe it or not, he got a 14, 13 and a 10 pound bass on the same day, and the best part about it is that he only use one simple technique (flippin and pitchin). there's not alot of places in this country like this lake, plus i believe lake o is under rated. i also believe that there's couple of 20 pounders swimming around since multiple people have caught 15 pounders.
  22. freshwater rods are better quality and have more technology and sensitivity than saltwater rods, saltwater rods are more heavier and stronger. so you will be just fine with a freshwater rod.
  23. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRAKaMdxXkM lake Okeechobee will produce bigger fish than lake falcon by a mile and a half, lake o will guarantee multiple fish in the double digits
  24. i just learn something thats probably gonna save me a couple of dollars thanks
  25. bps extreme rod =$100 bps pro qualifier reel =$100 top of the line for the price.
