  1. hey snook, your 100000000% right, i agree everything you said. tight lines.. im outtt
  2. LOL i just read your name tag.... thats so wrong lol
  3. this thread is about (polarize sunglasses). talking about high velocity extra protection eye getting hit by something, is a whole different subject.
  4. 20 bucks is a lot of money, you can get about 4 or 5 lures for that price.
  5. I personally have not got a 100# tarpon with a 4000 reel but i have this friend that works a basspro shops so we really knows how to look for tackle. he has a 4000 reel that can take over 400 yards of 30# pound powerpro and he catches tarpon all the time hes biggest one was 110 lbs. I always ask him for advise on tackle because he works there. but your right on the fact that some spinning gear weight a little more than you typical average weight, but some people just dont mind it because at the end what matters is the catch and i rather have the right equipment for the job rather than worrying about if its too heavy or what not.
  6. i think the shimano cumara is one of the best rods out right now. the cumara would work perfectly fine for you application. my second choice would be aetos.
  7. probably not from shore because line capacity, but on a boat sure you can because you have the advantage of following the fish, But with a 4000 reel you can fish for them from shore.
  8. the reason last one got locked is because people like you have to use my name in an offensive way like you just did, and i contacted the big boss glenn because of that. you can argue and state your opinion all you want but never insult or offend nobody, things like that will eventually catch up to you and get you kicked. respect others how you want to be respected.
  9. i buying one of those cool looking buzz baits for sure.
  10. cool dude i think even the plastic costas are better then other plastic sunglasses brand. IMO costas make the best sunglasses in the world. plus they have lifetime warranty
  11. they have told me before that if you return it with receipt even if out of warranty, they can be nice enough to give you a new one... my local bps told me that.
  12. 100% braid........ if you want FC get as leader so you get the sensitivity of braid but the invisibility of FC.
  13. i dont think so, theres rods for the 70s that still catching fish till this day
  14. b/c are designed for heavy line and heavy baits, just sayin.....
  15. seaguar is known for quality fluoro, try AbrazX, i think is a little better than invizx
  16. yes i would, i like to try different tackle but when i find the right one i stay with it and buy more
  17. shimano stradic, abu garcia revo inshore and daiwa ballistic. i must have full metal reels because i abuse the hell out of them. plus i also use them in saltwater.
  18. did you drop-shot with braid? i hope you at least had a fluorocarbon leader. drop-shot is a finesse type of bait that requires line fluoro line.
  19. lol. i don't really care if people bash me, tell me something what do people accomplish by bashing me? absolutely nothing. that's why i continue doing what i do. if that makes them feel better than that's good for them. meanwhile i will continue expressing what i feel.
  20. yes i only use the 580 because no other glasses comes close they are the best. costas are made for fishing.
  21. i always say that is more versatile and they do the same thing, i also said that spinning cast lighter lures better, so apparently your not payin attention or your just a b/c fanboy that cant except the truth.
  22. you just agreed with me. like you said, you can get a tarpon on fly rod, therefore baitcasters are not better. like i said before anything a b/c can do, a spinning can also do.
  23. extremely good reels that outlast other reels in the 200+ range
  24. i wear costas its hand made and is 100 percent real glass, not plastic
