  1. Here is another decent video on how to set up a jika rig and what it looks like in the water on youtube:
  2. Where do you get these! I love the looks of them. I'm like the idea of the colored weights and the extra o-ring
  3. Solid. Jealous. I'd love to start catching more bass on swimbaits.
  4. I'm having a hard time dissecting fall bass fishing patterns. What's a good rule of thumb in water temperature to decide weather the fish have transitioned to there winter stages, or are still in a fall foraging pattern?
  5. That is exciting and gets the juices flowing! Stoked on it! Southern Utah Bass fishing rocks!
  6. I'm thinking of heading out to Utah lake this weekend to flip the heavy cover. I'm thinking the bass might be moved in shallow before we start the cold of winter. Anyone been out there recently and had any luck? Or any suggestions on good spots to fish? Best of luck! Getting stoked for the weekend!
  7. Awesome to hear about your success at Sand Hollow! How does guy from VA no about this place? Did you live in utah for a stint?
  8. My local lake of choice for Utah is Sand Hollow Reservoir. Just out there recently with my wife, and she caught her first "all be herself" bass. It was a really good time. I also did really well on a swim jig! I've never used them much before, but now I'm sold! The bass were really schooled up in the transition areas on a weed line drop off from 12 - 20ft. We found a hole and we crushed them! Always love to catch those sweet Largemouth. JB Spilker
  9. I'm all about throwing weightless senko's or the shaky head. Those things are money!
  10. I'm so stoked to be involved in the bass resource forum! My goal on the forum is to contribute info as to what we are doing in Utah, and hopefully it can add to the general body of knowledge for all the bass fisherman on this forum. Super stoked. JB Spilker
