  1. I use Booyah and Spros. Booyahs have better hook up ratios and are cheaper but tend to flip over when going over cover. Spros have better action, but are pricey and begin to take on water way faster. Both have caught me quality fish, so I'm not biased.
  2. A Booyah Pad Crasher Jr. Brown/white belly. 7'MH rod, pro qual BPS baitcaster, and 30lb braid. The key with frogging is the initial presentation. If you can have that frog dangle from a tree branch or tall grass and then drop, you won't even have to reel before you get that bite. This one took it as soon as it touched the water (after dangling from the overhanging tree branch). Ivanhoe was surprisingly bigger than I thought and gorgeous. I wish we had more time, there were soo many great looking spots on that lake.

  4. If you can find this article, I'd love to send it to my friend. I just try to hold the fish as close to my head as possible to give it scale. Nothing worse than people trying to punch the camera with the fish.
  5. DISCLAIMER: This wasn't in October, but the fish I posted earlier was bigger than this one. Stupid angles.

  7. The sad part is we took two pics, that was the better of the two :\, Can't complain, the memories are locked in. That's my 3rd bass this year above 8lbs. I doubt it will be my last.
  8. Yeah the angle wasn't good. My buddy fishes better than he takes pictures, haha. Caught this one at Lake Ivanhoe (first trip there)
  9. Caught this weekend. Didn't have anything to measure it with. Only scale. Came in at 9.3lb
  10. Hey AK, I'm from Downtown (next to Ivanhoe). UCF has some nice ponds. Next time you're there check out the two ponds right behind Brighthouse Stadium. I can guarantee there are at least 2 +10lb bass in there.
  11. New to the forum, but I'm in!
