Sounds good thanks yall! For deeper diving cranks what rod out of the tatula line up do you go with? I usually crank 15ft or deeper with a 7'6 or so, but I saw Tatula doesnt have something that long. I have never deep cranked with rod shorter than 7'6, and I wasnt sure how that would really do for the deeper cranks.

Hey guys so I want to pick up a new shallow cranking rod. The two rods I am looking at are the Duckett Micro Magic 6'9 medium crank rod, and the Tatula 7ft ML rod. What would the better buy be? I like them both a lot, so looking for some advice from people that have some type of experience with these rods. Thanks!

From watching MLF lately I'd have to go with Skeet Reese, Jeff Kriet, or Aaron Martens. Pretty hard to pick one out of the group haha

Thanks Ill check out that bearing. I bought these online so if something is fixable id rather fix it before I take it back. I need to figure out now how to get in there to see the bearing haha I havent done much work on reels before. Headed to Daiwas website now to find a diagram.

Hey guys so today I got 3 Tatulas in the mail. Two of them feel amazing and are very quiet, if I spin the handle they will keep going for a long time after letting go of it. The other one though is a little noisy and when I spin that handle it makes maybe two or three rotations and stops moving. It feels smooth in the handle but when you palm it you can feel a little more vibration or action from the reel than you can with the other two. Is there anything I can do to it to help with this besides break it in? I oiled the part of the reel that the tws is on that slides back and forth and I also put some oil inside the reel where you can see when you remove the spool from the reel. Thanks!

Hey guys so I want to try fishing a frog and I have a 7ftMH Carbonlite. My lakes do not have pads or weeds so I will be fishing it in places you would throw a spook and what not. Is that rod ok for that considering when they eat it I wont have to worry about getting the hooks through a lot of weeds into the fish.

I know you said $50 or less, but if you were to come into a little extra money I would really suggest checking out Wiley X. I picked up a pair of polarized jakes from amazon that were only $80. I love them, and the climate control gasket is great for helping keep the wind out of your eyes on the lake.

Thats true, I know I would be fine with paying for tax on something that I was really wanting to get sooner rather than later. I guess it just comes down to if you really dont want to have to wait or not.

If he has the option of going the next day to pick it up at the same price as online then why wouldnt he do that as opposed to buying online and then waiting on it to get there even if the shipping is free? Cant fault a guy for wanting to get something a little faster haha

Hey guys so I was wondering how the Tatula in 5.4:1 handles deep diving cranks. I have a Duckett 7'6 mh cranking rod that I would be putting it on. I right now have the orra winch on there but honestly it seems to be a bit finicky at times so I was thinking about replacing it. I would be throwing Spro Baby DD, DD, and the Strike King 5xds as well as 6xds. Thanks!

What size heat shrink do you use? That was something I had been wondering about. This trip I will likely try out the tape just since I dont have any heat shrink but after that Id like to give the shrink a shot.

Hey guys so I had an idea for helping the durability for a senko. I know a lot of people use heat shrink and I have been planning on trying that. I dont have any at the moment though and with work I doubt I will be able to get by the store before I hit the water again. So I was wondering if anyone had used electrical tape before? I thought I could wrap a thin strip around the worm and then stick it to itself, and then hook through the tape and through the worm to keep the tape from sliding once it gets wet. I dont know, what do yall think?

If it matters I was going to use a leader from pline fluoroclear also. You think that higher # would be ok for things like shakey head with the really light wire hooks? I would be concerned about them straitening out. I guess I could just leave the drag a little more loose. Is that what you would suggest?

its a custom built spinning rod ive had for a long time I dont remember the exact specifics. It is flexible but not extremely flexible, its inbewteen medium and medium heavy to me. I have a shimano sienna 2500 on it.

Hey guys so I recently spooled my wacky rod with some yellow braid and I love that line. So now I want to put yellow braid on the rod I throw shakey heads on. However I have no idea what test is generally recommended for shakey head. What do you like to throw it on? Thanks!

Hey guys so a week or two weeks ago I made a post on here about wanting a wacky specific spinning rod. Everyone said to get a 6'6-7ft medium fast that is rated for 1/8oz to 1/2oz. Anyways I found a Shimano Compre Drop Shot rod that I ended up picking up. I love the way it feels, and it cast like a dream. It fits the list of things that was recommended, and is 6.8ft long. However the rod is very flexible. It does have backbone, but not much. Im worried that I should have gotten something else with the same stats but a little more backbone. Anyways does anyone have experience with this rod? What do you think about using it for wacky fishing both weightless and with a wacky jig head? Thanks guys!

What would you say is the difference in them? Just how well they catch fish or is there something else to them as well?

Just out of curiosity, if you go through wearing all of that to keep your skin covered, do you have any concerns with your legs from wearing shorts? Me and my dad were actually just having that conversation the other day when we were watching MLF about how they all wear so much to cover up and then wear shorts. Just wondering what your thoughts on that is.

So I went by DSG today and I found some ochos and some yum dingers. I have never used either but I really like the looks of them. I am going out this coming weekend and cannot wait to try them! The ocho looks awesome!
