  1. Shoot me a PM if youre still looking for a co. I have a boat and fish the tuesday nighter quite a bit, but finding a co is a recurring issue. Maybe we could help each other out. I also fish some weekend tourneys on that lake.
  2. where was this? some toads on that leaderboard
  3. I love going down to that store. Definitely my favorite BPS. Don't think I've ever got out of there without dropping a couple benjamins tho. You did well exercising that kind of restraint
  4. DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMNN!!!!!!!!! Great looking fish! Just got one of those 6th sense lipless in a shad pattern. those red ones are money in the spring
  5. Had a decent day Saturday afternoon with a ned and a pointer 78. It was extremely windy but the ultrex did a pretty good job fighting the wind for me. Went ahead and winterized on Sunday. C'mon spring!
  6. @Alan Reed How was it Sunday?
  7. Last Sunday, we caught em in the area just East of the Olio Road bridge and in the back of coves with a creek running in. Bait was looking smaller than usual for this time of year. Neds, pointer 78s, and 3 to 4 inch keitechs worked for us. Good luck!
  8. I've gotten out a few times in the past week and caught em on a swim jig reeled really slowly on a rocky bottom. Ned has worked as well. I agree with @The Bassman on those owner blockheads. Sharp, strong hooks!
  9. Check out Google Earth or Google Maps for some excellent recon opportunities
  10. Where has @IndianaFinessebeen?
  11. They are having a going out of business sale this Saturday. Sucks. Geist was 50 down by the dam and 48-49 in the creek yesterday. Shafer was 47-49 over the weekend.
  12. Sounds awesome! Bald eagles are the ultimate predators. I once saw one take out a large hawk that had just grabbed itself a rodent.
  13. Used to fish a small lake south of merom, near vincennes, but on the other side of the wabash as a kid. I think it's called lake lawrence. That little lake is where I got hooked on rippin lips!
  14. The 3-bank charger on my nitro 896 is installed in the back where the batteries are
  15. 7'2" Envy M spinning rod Quantum Smoke 25XPT 20# Smackdown braid 8# invizx leader
  16. this thread got bumped from 2013. Let it die already
  17. how do you create the air pockets? Alarm clock went off at 4am on the 4th and since I had off work I really really really wanted to stay in bed. But I got up and headed out to the lake bc I guess I wanted to rip some lips even more. Between 545 and 7 I had boated 19 bass. Added 7 more to that for 26 total by 845. Nothing huge but almost all were keepers. Both the swim jig and chatterbait were working hard. Also caught some on a wacky and a few on a rico popper. Was home by 930 and napped until noon. Lately the morning first light bite has much more productive than the evening bite.
  18. I fish both sunrise and sunset windows whenever possible. Lately the morning bite has been better...
  19. Hot Sauce is the TRUTH! I use it every time I put back on the trailer. Love the vinegar smell of the stuff...
  20. Pretty quiet around here. I got out in the rain on Saturday and had really good day using both a vision jr and a hardhead/beaver combo. Couldnt get bit on topwater which was surprising given the conditions. How's everyone else doing?
  21. @IndianaFinesse never fished that lake but those kind of numbers sound like fun! good deal finding your own pattern and separating yourself from the rest of the pack. how was the grass in that lake?
  22. new PB smallie from LSC - weighed 4#12oz and measured 20.5 inches dropshot, chatterbait, and jerkbait crushed it. can't wait to go back! We caught smallies, largemouths, rock bass, white bass, pike, muskie, and walleye.
