I approached my club with the "vote the schedule and dates" . Figure we can do it at our year end "classic". That way only those that qualified (active members) would have a say. Currently we only have a schedule, tourneys / sundays and meetings on Thursdays. Once a month . Meetings are to pick and vote on lake sites. I consider this a waste of time but got shot down as they don't want to change ? Our membership is down and I would like it back up.

Fished it several times out of Wingates. Won a couple of tournaments there in my club. It changes a lot due to them killing the hydrilla. The hydrilla edges hold the fish so where it is,is where the bass will be. Flipping and topwater baits were how I caught them. Toward the dam from wingates the bluff area on the left is good as well as up the Flint river just before the big left turn in the channel. If there is no grass, go right just as you leave the canal from the lodge and fish in front of the campground. Good luck.
