  3. I used to go to this park all the time with my dog, never thought about fishing there lol.
  4. I actully have two separate occasions. I was about 12 years old fishing with my brother and my grandpa near the local dam, (shasta d**n Nor Cal) i put my cast out for about a good 2 minutes, and we noticed a bald eagle up in the sky we were checking it out and then i felt a snag and i hoooked my fish and i was fighting it and fighting it, then the eagle just swoops down and snaggs my fish and along goes my rod with it. yah...my grandpa was ticked and just blown away long with me and my little brother because he just bought that new rod and real for me haha. Then another time my brother and i were at a little dock at lake shasta and we had set our rods down to go grab some food and i was about 14 and we were just using night crawlers and i guess mine was left in the water..came back it was gone. i've never left a rod un attended near the water again. lol espically not my g.loomis.
  5. The a.m. is soon here. stories are always a fun read. plus that is a long chucka bass.
  6. So congratz on the new PB cant wait for a picture, also what crank bait were you using?
  7. for all we know this guy could be pretty well off, just doenst want to go spending to much money on something he isn't sure how much he will love or if hes getting ripped off which im sure happens. so honestly just browse and do your research, i love my g. loomis and shimano reel. but thats me shakespear ugly stix are great for the price. then u can go crazy once u find what u need/want in the future. by what you fish and how you fish.
  8. yeah never been to ralph clark but leg is like above dirty, and little lagauna go go blue gill
  9. well if you are fishing in tournaments and what not im sure you'd already be used to fishing for 8 hours and its a pretty normal thing for you. unless you are new then yah ur not, but honestly i dont see people in fishing using PEDs as a advantage more of personal use or some weird reason.
  10. I love my senkos and sometimes even a fresh night crawler will get them going.
  11. Welcome, glad to see another Norcal person lurking around

Hey everyone, so just thought i'd say hello to the community. I have been fishing most my life, grew up in northern cali, and now i live in Socal. talk about a whole different type of fishing. most down here is private and city place to fish unless u fish ocean, im used to massive lakes sitting on a boat drop shotting. its ok im adjusting. Recently got my 5 year old interested in fishing and he loves it we go almost every weekend. whether to our local woodbridge lakes in irvine or irvine lake or laguna lake. no mater what though, we are having fun. well talk to you all later.
