  1. As for the T-rig/Jig I usually have both both tied on because the T-Rig is my safety net. If the fish are barley hitting the Jig I will switch to the T-Rig because I tend to land more because they seem to hold on longer. I believe it has something to do with the softness of the bait verses the heavy head they may be feeling.
  2. Oh man I have 99 problems and buying to much darn bait is 1! This year especially.
  3. I would find something else in this situation. I wouldnt use anything that catches dead vegetation. I would opt for a Carolina rig If my lake was full o f stuff like that.
  4. Hard lesson #1 for me is asking an unexperienced fisherman to do anything. Sounds harsh but isnt meant to be. I took a friend fishing one time and hooked into a hawg. I got it to the boat and I know it was beigger than my current PB. It had to be right at or over 10#. When I yelled get the net he looked down, got excited and grabbed the line and pulled. Fish was gone. Needless to say I told him our day was over and headed towards the truck and started loading up gear. On my way back to the boat to grab the tackle bags he shut the tailgate and I heard something rattle. When I turned around I believe there were 5 tips from my rods dangling on the fishing line. Longest ride home over!
  5. Jig and pig, Sus. Jerk bait, T-rigged Crature baits(beaver, beast, boss), chatterbaits and squarebills.
  6. Another baseline 1/2 user here. Will adjust weight and trailer size with comditions. I have caught 4-5" fish on on 10" Powerbait worms so bait size desnt really matter all of the time. Catching dinks on a 1/2 jig just shows you how in touch you are with your inner jig fisherman.
  7. I use a butt seat. Use it like a leaning post and it doesnt get in the way of casting/setting hooks. It usually doesnt get put on deck untill I feel like I could us a little break.
  8. I dont like re shaping these spinnerbaits or putting new blades on everytime I catch a fish. So I tend to avoid them and stick with the Terminators, War Eagles, Daiwa's and Stanley's
  9. 5 bucks. What a steal.
  10. Sufix Seige/Elite and I may be the odd duck here but I have really had some great luck with Cajun Line
  11. Daiwa. It is all I own these days. I do have a buddy who fishes Fenwicks and Falcons and they seem nice from the few times I have used them.
  12. I started using this bait last year and it is sweet. The bait is really heavy but it is deadly. The stop and go action you can do around weed edges and submerged logs is great and it is also good in open water. I have caught some great fish on this bait including a pair of 6's last year. Cant wait to get it out again when the time comes around.
  13. Hahaha. Oh man that is hilarious. Im at work and everyone is wondering what I am laughing about. Sad thing is I cant tell them out of hear of a SH case from HR.

  16. Yes water levels everywhere in the US should be higher this year considering the snow most of the nation has had. I know here in Missouri our lakes/ponds will be really high come the big thaw.
  17. Has anyone seen these or used them? They look sweet. The reel reminds me of the Exceller or TD Pro they released for BPS. http://daiwafishing.com.au/products/pre-mounted-combos/tds-pmcs/

  19. I am running into the same problem. I tried a week or so ago and it worked but I backed out when it redirected me to FB. I just noticed that you can check the box so it will not do that. But now it seems dead.
  20. I really love my TD-S661MRB. It's the Daiwa "green stick" and it is a Fiberglass cranking rod.
  21. I like the Menace as trailers on Spinnerbaits, swim jigs, and scroungers. I have really been wanting to try the recon worm.
  22. Hmmm. I am a little curious also.
