Heading to pickwick this saturday and will be at the aqua marina. Not fishing during the day but staying on a boat that night and sleeping there. I plan on taking my poles and just fishing around the dock. Any chance of catching anything around the marina or no?

I went Sunday and it looked like a tough pond to fish. A lot of high grass over by the mcdonalds/eye care side. I had on shorts so I didn't bother getting in there but next time I will wear some jeans and work my way around. The kroger side does look a little easier to fish as well, like you said. Hopefully I can get back out there and do some fishing and if I do I will let you know.

Thats awesome! My question meant to be how is the pond, meaning are there a lot of fish in there? Trees, rocks, things to get hung up on?? Also, it looks to be a pretty big pond...what part did you fish? Are you able to walk around the whole thing? Thanks man

I'm confused on Grove park. Is it the lake in the middle of that google maps picture or is it the one on the right? If it is the one on the right where do you park? I can't seem to find anywhere to park from the google map. Thanks for your help,

I live in OB as well and plan on hitting up central park today. Any certain spots in that lake that you like to fish? How about the smaller lake right next to it? Any thoughts on that one?

I went to the grove last Sunday and didn't catch a thing. Was wondering if there was a certain spot where you all like to fish a?. I walked the concrete track all the way back to the little cove area and couldn't get a thing to bite. Just wasn't my day I guess

Hey guys, new here and I have some questions. I’m from the north Mississippi/ Memphis area and I’ve recently got back into bass fishing and I am going for the big bass now. By big bass I mean 3+ haha. I’ve caught small ones all my life and recently just can’t find the right lake or pond to go to for the big ones. I have done research on here to find lakes around the Memphis area that has good fish in them and this is what I have come up with. Halle Park in Collierville Grove Park in Germantown Those ponds behind the “pay to fish lakes” at Shelby Farms Now I just need information on those lakes. I’m a planner and don’t want to drive all the way out to these places if I can’t fish there….so my questions are… Is Halle Park and Grove park public lakes? Are there places to park there or do I just park somewhere around the lakes? I’m just wondering since I don’t want to drive out there and the lakes are private or anything like that. ALSO…do any of yall know of any good lakes or ponds in the north Mississippi area, such as olive branch, Southaven, and hernando? Thanks for any help. Also, any help on what kind of baits I should be throwing at the spots would help too. Thanks a lot Tyler
