Hey yall, headed to lake Badin this weekend in NC and I've asked alot of people that live there and they said the bass are schooling so the fishing should be good, I do not own a boat sadly, so ill be sticking to the bank and the pier that goes out a fairly good ways. (Roughly 200 feet) Everyone at this lake love striper fishing and they claim alot of the stripers are under the pier at this point of time due to the water temperature. The water is fairly clean there so i went out and purchased some more natural colored crankbaits and some green pumpkin soft plastics, Just any advice would be nice... This is also the first time I've been to a lake in 3 months, i fish at my neighbor Richards pond mostly.
