  1. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/springsale.html Spring sale has started.
  2. Agree on the Pflueger President. I use the Mojo bass rod, that that would put you $20 over your price range.
  3. Definitely was expecting this article to go in the other direction. I am happy I was wrong.
  4. Thanks! This project has been scratching at me for a while. Maybe this winter i'll finally take the plunge.
  5. Any chance you took a picture of the framing that you did? I'd love to see that as well. Looks beautiful!
  6. Well that it just beautiful!
  7. Congrats on the first boat. Hopefully you have another $300+ lying around to put the personal touches on it. I know that's what I felt I needed to do as soon as i bought my first boat.
  8. I'm heading to the river early tomorrow morning with a buddy of mine. Other then this light rain during the night it looks like tomorrow is going to be great fishing weather. I'll be sure to report back with how we did. Here's to rippin lips and guttin fish. (Don't worry - I only C&R)
  9. I'm fine with that one as long as its 5+
  10. Thanks for the input. That is way to shallow for me and my boat. I think we are going to go out of Goldsboro or Conowingo.
  11. A buddy and I are going to make a day trip out to fish the Susquehanna River one day during the next two weeks. I have never fished it so I am looking online and I can't find much so I figured i'd pose the question on here. Where do you guys normally launch from? I was looking to use Goldsboro(maybe). My issue is I don't have a jet boat so I know there are areas where I have to stay away from. Any help would be great. I'll be sure to let people know how I do if you're interested. Thanks, Jason
  12. Thanks for sharing this. I'm from PA but my family has had property in Waddington all of my life and we were up there for the tournament. It was awesome to see how the professionals approached the River. I thought about being a marshall for the tourney but since that was my only long vacation from work I didn't feel like spending 8 hours in a boat if I wasn't the one fishing. It's really crazy to see the size smallies they were reeling in - that size fish just did not exist on the river 5 years ago.
  13. Welcome Dave. The Nock is a fun but challenging lake. It surely holds the big ones. Have you been out on it recently? I'm probably heading down there this labor day weekend(weather dependent). Good luck out there!
  14. Just wanted to finally introduce myself to the forums. I've been casually bass fishing all my life, mainly on the St Lawrence River at my family's summer place. After watching the Elite tournament a few weeks ago on the St Lawrence my love for bass fishing has just exploded and now I no longer want to only be bass fishing while I'm on vacation in Upstate NY. I know we don't grow them as big in eastern PA as they do on the St Lawrence but they are a blast nonetheless. Look forward to learning a lot on the forums and maybe I'll even have a tip to throw around. Jason
