  1. Let's try not to get this post locked down.......
  2. That new St. Croix Legend Elite I posted a few days ago.
  3. Just ordered my Metanium from JLS. I've been telling myself I would get one for over a year now but I always end up getting another Chronarch CI4 or another Curado.
  4. My trap box probably weighs 7-8 pounds. The traps I have mostly include RES, Xcalibur, Spro Aruku Shad, LC LV500, and the Bill Lewis. If I could only have one for the rest of my life it would most likely be the Aruku Shad. That being said the Bill Lewis would be a close second.
  5. Absolutely fantastic crankbaits. The stock hooks aren't the best bet it's nothing some mustad kvd short shanks can't fix
  6. Yup the beat shad was hands down the worst bait I've ever used. I know Keitechs are pricey but they are worth every penny. If you really are trying to save money why don't you pick up a bottle of mend-it?
  7. Picasso Shock Blade. The others don't even come close
  8. I've been fishing like I would in early winter. I've been absolutely smoking them on a LC Pointer 78 near a lot of rock.
  9. 3.8's get thrown as bladed jig trailers 4.8s get thrown on either a owner weighted 4/0 beast hook or a 1/4 oz buckeye j-will jig head As for fishing the 4.8's I fish them as slow as I can. The beauty of the keitech is how you can fish it at such slow speeds and it will maintain that beautiful wide kick.
  10. Well shoot it looks my reel to rod ratio is going to be even more unbalanced than it already is
  11. Another one of my hobbies is collecting old zippo lighters. Due to that I usually have a lot of zippo fuel laying around so I usually use that to soak my bearings in.
  12. Anytime I need braid I'm using 832
  13. Keitech Swing Impact Fats and Basstrix Paddletails
  14. Christmas definitely came early. I was thinking about a Metanium to pair it with but I'm not a 100% sure.
  15. I'm very pleased with them. Before I got into bass fishing 9 years ago I was an avid fly fisherman and my brand of choice was St. Croix. Once I got into bass fishing I played around with other brands but not much with St. Croix. Around last year I purchased an LTB and had acquired a couple more throughout the year. I've been so satisfied with them I've made the decision a month ago to switch out my Champions and Champion Extremes with St. Croix. Actually, as we speak the FedEx truck is on it's way with my new Legend Elite.
  16. I was a huge fan of Dobyns but now I'm switching over to St. Croix.
  17. The E's were great but the I's are better. I would love to get another E but I can't justify paying $175-200 when I could get the newer better reel for $130.
  18. The Curados are fantastic. They palm fantastically, fantastic drag, extremely smooth, and cary Shimano's durability and longevity. The one thing about Shimano's that we can not say yet about Lew's yet is how long they are going to last down the road. So many people own some sort of Shimano that they bought 10+ years ago and is still working great today.
  19. I use green pumpkin
  20. I would get a 7' MH St. Croix Avid
  21. With jigs I keep it simple. I use a green, a brown, and a black and blue. So I usually will just order green pumpkin, brown craw, and black and blue.
  22. A frog is pretty weedless. Flukes work pretty good for me as well as long as it is not the heavy stuff.
  23. I pretty much only use a 1/4 oz
