  1. I purchased from a local dealer but financed through Bass Pro as Bass Pro made me an interest rate offer of 2.99% with 10% down at the time of my purchase. If a dealer sells Tracker boats they are required to tell you about the financing through Bass Pro. The best place to purchase is where you receive the lowest interest rate! To be sure ask the dealer and Bass Pro what interest rate they will finance you at, then go with the lower rate. The 190TX and 195TXW as equipped will last you a lifetime! But, I know you will want to upgrade the electronics, trolling motor, and an anchoring system just to really feel comfortable on the water and that is not inexpensive! The 190TX is offered about 5k less than the 195TXW; that 5k would go a long way toward upgrades. With the 195TXW you spend an additional 5k for 35 more horsepower and a 9 inch wider beam! I spent a few months researching aluminum bass boats and what I realized is the various manufactures are competing for your dollars so don't believe all the negative commentary you hear about each manufacture. I have taken my boat to Bass Pro for my installs and they have been great to deal with. The best boat to get is the one that puts a smile on your face and a bass in your live well. Good luck!
  2. I purchase my Tracker 190TX in 2013 after evaluating other aluminum boats in the same class. The 195TXW was not an option for me in 2013, and now that it is available and can afford it, I have decided to stay with my 190TX and make the necessary upgrades. Mine was purchased with the 115 Optimax Pro and after two full seasons on the water this motor is appropriately suited for this boat. I have started my upgrades which I have detailed on member site. No upgrades for 2016 as the truck I us to pull my boat is 20 years old, so that is the next upgrade.

  8. My 2013 aluminum Tracker 190TX is exactly the boat I was looking for, and the post you have received are from guys who providing you good advice. One thing you notice after fishing in whatever you decide to purchase is what upgrades will be necessary to deal with certain conditions while on the water; generally it is the equipment and not the boat that requires you attention. I have started to make my upgrades to my Tracker because my boat is a good platform. Check it out!
