  1. You wouldn't believe the guns I found in the bottom of a lake near my house.
  2. 5.5:1 for slow rolling, 6.5:1 for most soft plastics, 7.1:1 for burners and jigging because they pick up slack faster.
  3. During the summers always, not during the school year. Planning on rigging up at pelican 8 footer with lights for night fishing this summer.
  4. My new 50 size Curado completely smoked the 200 in the 30 yard cast race. Must be the smaller flux capacitor sending less jigawats into the turbospool therefore keeping a cooler line temperature. Got a Chronarch on the way with HID headlights and 10" subwoofers in the back.
  5. I had the flux with 14lb tune but I was casting so fast my fluoro was burning. Had to tone it down.
  6. Shimanos don't look like cars. But I still run 12 lbs of boost on my Curado E's.
  7. A hawgtech on a blackmax would be like the guys riding around with 26" rims on a crown vic retired police car. Not insulting the blackmax, it's great for the price, but a handle shouldn't cost more than the reel.
  8. No, I did not jump right on it, I bought it at 10pm after work, 7 hours later, I assumed he'd found one in a store or knew someone, I'd been saving for a few weeks to get a new reel, the local stores were sold out of Ch 50e's and I searched new curado 50e and found one, bought it. There are more Curado 50e's on ebay, I looked at several before purchasing that one. Saving 50 bucks makes a huge difference for a 16 year old, I make about 400-650 a month and use 70-100 a week on gas in my truck, so the leftovers are put aside for fishing gear.
  9. Strike King 1/4 oz finesse football jig, zoom swimmin chunk trailer for 3/4 of the year, and baby bass colored superfluke when they're spawning.
  10. Sorry for grabbing it from under you, I have looked every day for a few weeks for new curado e's. I'm 16 and I work 2 jobs to pay for my gas guzzler and stupid expensive fishing habits.
  11. Just bought one on Ebay for 150 plus 11 shipping.. BNIB.
  12. If you don't buy it, PLEASE inform me of who is selling it if it's online, because I will in 2 seconds.
  13. Because I am 16 years old, and I will most likely never see the social security that is deducted out of my checks. I would like to have a small tackle shop or small gun store, nothing full time, and I would just do it for the sake of staying active, an active mind and body stays active.
  14. Interesting that you choose Washington and Colorado.... Fan of a certain herb?
  15. I'm 16 so I'm still working toward it, but. 1. Hot wife, at least 1 son. 2. Sturdy financial situation. 3. Live on a lake, own a high end bass boat. 4. Start a small business when retired. 5. Live a healthy life.
  16. Chronarch 50e will throw a number 5 with the right rod, and the right user. Half the people I fish with look confused when I start slinging weightless worms and flukes on a baitcaster. If you have your reel loose enough and a rod that'll load you can throw whatever you want really.
  17. My setup cap is 500 for now, none have even got close to that, but then again I'm 16 and buy my own setups.
  18. The 8 foot pelican is another option, 400 dollars bare and will surely fit in your truck.
  19. Oh my.. My kershaws have been outstanding I can't believe that you didn't ask for a manager..
  20. I'm gonna spool it with 8lb mono until I get used to it. But it's gonna be a fluoro reel mostly.
  21. I don't have a problem with the rig, but I can see where it could frustrate tournament fisherman. Seen videos of two fish caught at once on it.
  22. I would rather have a green curado NIB with warranty, but that ain't happening, the G series doesn't do it for me. My E series Curado is a champ.
  23. Shimano's are known to be the more durable baitcaster, lasting many years, so I would assume whatever bearing you just said to be reliable, and the Chronarch is much better than the watered down G series curado, which is a huge step down from the E series curado, the E curado and E chronarch are basically the same reel, with some minor improvements on the Chronarch.
  24. Sounds like you're making up for not reeling your slack when you get hit by setting high, rod tip toward the sky bending at the tip, best way to set the hook is to reel the slack with rod tip down and set firm but not too high.
  25. I like the Havoc Craw fatty for a craw rig. Makes a decent jig trailer too.
