I know ya'll are gonna think this is a joke or something, but sometimes I tie a trap onto my cheapest rod/reel setup when I don't need a crankbait that day, and that Shimano Caenan will ZING a trap, 7' crankin stick from BPS. Absolutely slings them, and that reel winches in some fish pretty well.
I do think my Curado 50e throws further though, my longest casting setup period is my Curado 200E7 with 7' MH rod, always keep a jig tied on that, 17-20lb fluoro once the Georgia sun decides to get really hot, 65lb braid from late fall to early summer. I like braid in the winter because I find myself throwing into more structure and pulling fish through more crap. If anyone was curious.
