Hello everyone! After lurking for a couple of months and learning SO MUCH, I felt compelled to join and thank all of the amazing contributors on this site. This is my first year being completely hooked on fishing, and started reading about Bass fishing on this site just before our Bass season opened. The sheer volume of information on these threads and articles is incredible. For so long I never needed to create an account because every question I could ever think of was already answered somewhere here in great detail. After reading Roadwarriors post GUARANTEED TO CATCH BASS (http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/13845-guaranteed-to-catch-bass/) I went out to a local lake and put this gameplan to action and was rewarded with my first LM caught! It felt so rewarding to target a species with a new technique, and be successful! Needless to say after that moment my thirst for info increased. I read every article on plastic worms i could find,,Ultimate Encyclopedia of Senko Topics kept me up late for weeks lol. Since then I've been going out whenever I can, always paying attention and trying to learn something even on the days I am skunked. Thanks to this website I've learned to recognize were bass are going to be while fishing from shore, how and why they feed and how to recognize the local forage and do my best to imitate. Heck I even learned what 'Forage' means! Like others in a thread about "Is bassfishing an addiction" I think the fact that I got into the game late, has made me feel like i'm making up lost time, easily spending a couple hours a day reading and re-reading all the information available here. Once again I'd like to thank all the people that keep this website running, and the thousands of members who contribute information on a daily basis to guys like me, who have so much to learn.
