I don't mind bugs and these little critters so long as they're outside. I even feed the spider on my back porch sometimes.
Catch22 having a skunk inside sounds awful
There's a loud chirping noise, I'm pretty sure it's from inside my house (maybe the walls). I'm thinking maybe a mouse got it. It's not the smoke detector, and it stops every time I get out of bed to check it. I'll probably grab some mouse traps in the morning and set them up. Anyone have any ideas or ever had something similar happen?
St croix, Kistler, loomis have lines of rods that are made in the USA. There's probably more companies but those are the ones I know off the top of my head
I know you're looking at loomis, but the alx deputy has a lot of power and a nice taper. I use it for just about everything, but it's really good for jigs/swim jigs, chatterbaits, keitech fat impacts.
You don't notice the difference until you step down. When I go from my pfluger patriarch on my bass rig to my Abu cardinal on my trout rig there is a significant difference. Every time I got a new (read more expensive) spinning reel I would think to myself man this is nice but is it really better, but once you go back to the older ones you can tell.
When are you going. If you put in some time at the beach or canal you might catch something but this time of year isn't the best for surf fishing. You're best bet would probably be to find a charter/guide. Also Google some local bait and tackle shops around there and give them a ring.
