wind
I've seen it right at my feet before right along shore in crystal clear water.
Can fish and bugs make it? yea...
but you are better off ignoring them.
this time of year has opened up the begetation enough for me to bank fish from steep dropoffs. the hill goes straight down into maybe 12-15 feet of water with green hrass and standing timber. figure this will be my best spot on the mini lake i fish. problem is.casting distance is limited and if i slip ill slide into water...
couple days ago the bass were plucking at my d bomb trailer. actually got on a steep bank and watchex a pound n a half nibble on it. Is this when you change colors or what?
mustad denny brauer straight shank 4/0 with snell is amazing. bass get hooked in the meaty upper mouth almost every time and they dont straighten out. have to punch the hooks out so you lnow the bass wont shake off. No sense in using ewg as it was designed to make room for bulkier baits to slide out of way on hooksets...whic h isnt a problem with straight shanks.
With upcoming fall/winter sales I wanted to look into getting a new combo for punching and flipping.
Im currently using a 7' mh daiwa team d w/ lews mg speed spool. This combo gives a little much and Id rather have a swimjig on it.
The cover i punch doesnt need more than 1oz tungsten and im not interested in rods over 7'6" as they wont fit inside truck. Max id be willing to pay is $200 (unless i get a nice holiday deal)
Any suggestions would be appreciated
two lives ruined...for plastic worms...
someone here in town was beaten in broad daylight while in his yard by two fellows, one with a metal pipe...
you need to be careful when confronting people...they are often not in the right state of mind and could cost you your life.
these your only options? what are you buying them for? what length and action? plenty of good rods on tw for similar price range. *** also has customer reviews of those rods i believe.
