    Dang nice man. I was out wednesday on an aluminum boat w/ 45# TM...was not easy at all! Caught my.bass off riprap as well.

    He has a garmin and the laydowns were above surface. You can drag a dropshot like a carolina rig to find cover as well. Just saying it is doable but like mentioned by someone else it isnt my first option.

    Woah woah woah guys. We all know that there are no rules in fishing. Ive caught numerous bass on dropshot in chocolate milk before! Chartreuse tip roboworm cast to laydowns. Bass are tight to cover and they will notice a worm floating by especially during post front conditions.

    Ive got 4 in top 10 and Im still not ranked high in leaderboards....thats the problem with the classic. Need to basically pick 5 of the top 8 to win anything.

    Ive got 4 in top 12 before weigh in. Faircloth not far back. Hard to tell what tomorrow brings, especially with tight weights. A pattern may blossom or die in a heartbeat this time of year. The "assault" pattern may be the only given.

    Defoe registered with a couple 3 pounders. Looks like he was going for the big bite in morning. Didnt quite work out. Hope he has a solid backup pattern

    River rats wiggins and defoe had zeros. Wiggins suddenly with 5. Suggests he was out of cell range up a river....likely why Defoe shows zero.

    I considered adding details but my initial tsrget audience wouldnt understand/care and secondly my computer has difficulty handling programs that offer those features. Definantely a plan for future releases.

    Those mouths are soft right now. Notice my two lost fish just seem to let go. Usually the lure and rod pops when coming unbottoned. Later in day I caught a squeaker on a lipless and he wasnt even hooked. The front and back treble lodged on both sides of mouth. Last year I boat flipped a bass that was never hook. Hook point was still buried in plastic.

    Pretty much juat saying I needed to get them in boat and not play them. I dont get spun out by lost fish...its part of the fun!

    I learned last year that spending all your money can be a big mistake. Just because someone is ranked high doesnt mean they will produce. I almost always try to make sure I have at least a couple dollars left over because it tells me I put thought into my picks.

    Well unfortunately the gopro session doesnt do well capturing narration at that distance and I had music playing in background. I would use headphones but I feel disconnected when I do. Also the video is made for social media consumption and a large segment of my friends probably dont appreciate nature sounds as much as bass resource members, but I will try it out next video.

    Hey guys, check out my first video of me kayak fishing. Unfortunately my battery was only 50% and didn't get to record half of my catches. I caught a couple on film and lost a couple others. I was slinging around chatterbaits, crankbaits, and lipless all day and had the water to myself (except for geese). Feedback is appreciated!

    Psych! You were at 1800 but a couple guys let you down. I feel like winning the overall standings is like winning an actual tournament. Gotta have like 5 or 6 guys in top 10 and the rest in top 50.

    I have never found a use for it. If im flipping pads they are usually thick enough to allow me to hold the bait at the depth i want...which most of the time is on bottom or right under the mat.

    Zman weedless. Its not a weed guard...there are no such things. It is a brush guard and it is vital if you want to skip into a laydown and come out the other side. It takes serious concentration to not roll your chatterbait over when hitting branches and trunks.

    Cajun Ben, you were probably too late. Gagliardi choked a bit today and hurt me. I also swapped Zach Birge for Clayton Batts which was a 100 position swing in my deficit. Birge is consistent and he will likely be in BASS in a few years. I didnt realize James Niggemeyer went to FLW...he struggled last couple years in BASS but he is a good stick and will do well in FLW.

    I have $40 left over! A lot of good anglers for under $15. Florida was not kind to many people

    I use YHZ hybrid as a main line on my topwater/jerkbait rod and mainline on my cranking rod. I honestly use braid for everything else.
