Well...had a good outing Saturday but lost a combo due to negligence.
It was a daiwa team t 7' MH xfast action. It fished more like a fast. Had a 7:1 lexa paired.
I want a replacement MH but not sure if I should go tatula or team s. Tatula has a fast action 6'10" which might be good for swimjigs, soft plastics, swing heads. Or they have a longer MH xfast.
I already have a 7'3" 13 *** xfast that I use for pitching and punching and sometimes frogs.
I'd also like a 7'4" team daiwa s rated to 2 oz for sanother sitembaits and punching that has a fast action. This would probably overpower and be too long for placing vibrating jigs on target.
The 6'10" tatula is hard to find for good price while longer tatulas can be had for less than msrp.
As for reel. Should I move my 7:1 tatula to new rod and get a 8:1 type r for *** or get a 6:1 tatula for new rod.
Thanks for any discourse
