  1. Got to use it extensively in my tournament yesterday in 20# as a long leader material. I was impressed. Extremely abrasion resistant, very low stretch, and pretty managable. Didn't hook up but I have faith that it's sensitive. I haven't used shooter or toray flouro but I don't see how they could be too much better when they cost over double if not more.
  2. They are not. But panic spreads fast, hence why everywhere is out of stock as everyone hordes their lures. Funny how xcalibur profits from excalibur shutting down.
  3. I have two packs but haven't used them yet. What's the tail action like?
  4. I have 12 pound test. It has thinner diameter than mono and it does have stretch. It casts very smoothly. I was cranking rip rap last Sunday and did notice that the line had abrasions. I simply cut and retired so unfortunately I never tested to what extent the abrasions had on the lines integrity. My past experiences with fluoro would dictate that these small abrasions would snap the line with little pressure. So basically this sunline reaction is a thinner diameter monofilament. I'd say save your money and buy mono or go with sniper which is more abrasion resistant and still contains stretch (almost as much as some monos!).
  5. Large freezer bags labeled by type/use with original package. Then stuffed in a Flambeau storage box. Some original packages make it tough to fit like keitech and rage baits
  6. Got it yesterday in mail. It's a small profile compared to 10xd. Morning dawn looks amazing. The magnet holding the tungsten weight is really innovative
  7. Just got this color from TW. It's like a pearly green pumpkin with slightly translucent claws. Probably most realistic craw color they have. Do they make other rage models in this color? I didn't see any on TW, but they don't always carry all the colors
  8. Anyone use these worm hooks? Has an interesting bend and are at a good price.
  9. I got mine for 150. Hell of a pitching reel at that price. Haven't had an issue with it so far.
  10. Very cool...Although a weightless soft plastic with a skirt in front would be similar
  11. I managed to tie a Palomar knot twice on my gills...took a while though... No bites but it's very weedless, the thought of using it to punch lily pads went through my mind. I swam it up and over timber too. Quick tip, if you bring the rof5 to the surface it will want to lay on its side and you can 'surf' it along slowly like a dying wakebait.
  12. Bass leveraging hooks
  13. Waste of money? Here in wv a license with a trout stamp is around 40 dollars. Say 100,000 in states buy a license and bam you have 4 million. I assure you that raising trout barely makes a dent in that revenue. Why do you think DNR is more active during the spring than summer/fall
  14. Some people add frog hook as a stinger with braid tied to eye of the hudd. Looked into a bit ago and a 3/0 frog hook is too wide for the gill.
  15. One fella here mentioned that cutting the hook slot longer will help some
  16. Someone is selling a similar assortment on ebay for nearly 100 NIB. 23 bids so far. I'd sell them and get duo or spro as replacements
  17. Just purchased one in morning dawn color. Lots of hype for this lure. Duo has been impressing me lately
  18. Got my two in. Little difference in light and dark gill. Prices they are going for on ebay I'm really tempted to sell. They look great though and look like bass will choke them.
  19. If you want to be precise on color choice...go with the color that resembles local craws. Some craws are dark black or dark brown with blue highlights or red highlights. Clearer the water the more I try to match. Otherwise I pick my favorite jig (sometimes red sometimes blue) and a matching trailer,
  20. I've read some about what to bring as a Co angler but I wanted to know what yall pack and how ya pack it. One tackle bag with 4 3700 boxes, some favorite soft plastics in front pouch, 4 rods enough? Bag doesnt have much room for a couple 16oz drinks or sandwiches. I think a tackle bag and backpack would be too much.
  21. Skipping docks? 1/4 or 3/8 at most Everything else 1/2oz
  22. Diagonally
  23. Mine still on backorder and I ordered like 30 minutes after they premiered
  24. Dbomb has an oil that helps it slide through vegetation. Also the many tiny ribs capture air bubbles and displace water. They are a bit fragile but they are not too expensive.
