  1. Haha, only model I've found in 1/4! Probably reasonable based on design of the DR.
  2. They have many styles of spinnerbaits and most are average to large profile. The deep runner series is designed with smaller head (weight is distributed down hook shank) smaller blades and I think a thinner skirt to allow it to get deeper but in turn creates a useful finesse bait. My half ounce bluegill color willow/colorado spinnerbait is large and looks like a small school of hand sized bluegills. A big fish bait no doubt.
  3. They have quite a lot of options for the 1/4 on their website including black nickle/white/orange blades, but almost no retailer stocks them! Thinking of emailing them and asking TW to stock more.
  4. It uses some 'p-ion' technology but comes in under sniper price range.
  5. I throw cranks all the time. If the bait creates resistance you will wear yourself our cranking. Big lipped deep divers, supersized squarebills and big lipped supersized deepdivers will strain your resolve. Squarebills and medium divers simply don't have the water resistance and are better for burning with high ratio.
  6. You better believe in clear shallow water that the bass can see what color the sides are.
  7. Si, some people are throwing 1oz+ spinnerbaits in shallow water so they can burn them....and that's just the lead weight, not wire and blades!
  8. Just got one in from TW and it is very finesse. Small blades and thin head. Wish revenge would market these as finesse instead of making you hunt for them. I can see smallies smashing this thing to bits.
  9. I ski fish when I can. Big trebles in heavy cover? Ski. Punching mats? Ski Anytime you want to keep a fish from digging into cover or if it's a dink you ski it. They pretty much go limp when skied.
  10. It does look like the tat frame but what if it's a smaller version? Tat frame is so big just to fit the twing. The fuego has no twing.
  11. Anyone use these? Thinking of getting some for punching duty. Supposed to be very durable and comes with shrimp scent. Would be good on shakey head and Carolina rig too since it floats.
  12. Just remember that they have a right to the water and are just out having fun like we are. I'm sure they get ticked when a boat is sitting in their favorite cove or swimming hole. While Hunting and Fishing Boats Are supposed To Be Given A wide birth, many people are ignorant of it and that's not a reason to have a heated argument or ruin your mood.
  13. New daiwa products and duo got me excited. Sunline assassin too. Probably buy a spro rat in the smaller size.
  14. I've asked same question and had no replies. They changed who covers them on Tv (was nbcsports) and haven't seen a single episode. Their website mentions nothing at all. Thinking they may have just skipped this year which is a shame.
  15. I've had success on small rivers for largies. Pinch off their claws so they they can't grab onto a branch and get hung
  16. Protecting our resources is a good thing. They don't belong and are driving unique species out. Plenty of other smallies and northerns to catch elsewhere.
  17. If there is more weight on one side it will still lean that way.
  18. Scott Martin has won the AOY for the FLW this past weekend. Congratulations Scott and thanks for supporting Bass Resource!
  19. What selection of color choices do yall have for pencil baits? I have a chrome sexy shad, a translucent green, and a reflective bone color. I'd like one more shorter pencil from duo realis but not sure what would be best to cover any other situation.
  20. That's what she said
  21. Never had a problem with 16 and 20. Find it to be pretty sensitive and low stretch. Is it as good as high end fluoro? No...but for 10 bucks it's great.
  22. Looks good
  23. Ripped a crank out of a 7 or 8 pounder trying to get her to the net....
  24. A terd in his basket?
