  1. It can be exciting especially when you have a follower. Keep a senko tied on to toss near them
  2. I currently own all 3700 boxes and take 5 or 6 with me in my kayak. My issue is that I feel like some of my boxes are not item specific enough. For instance my "lead-head" boxes contain jigs, chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, swimjigs, hair jigs. However I cannot accurately sort by size and have run out of room for my jigs where i have them all tossed into 3 slots. If I get 3600s I could have a dedicated jig box with additional heads and skirts. I could also improve my crankbaits (size/style) and terminal tackle storage (finesse box, punch box, swimbait and toad box etc). What is the downside to this train of thought? Do some of yall get this detailed or do most prefer a large box to throw all your toys in?
  3. I can get a gantarel jr to almost reach 270 degrees rotation when giving it slack but it will usually snag your line for a second. I did a small video with gantarel jr in small ponds. Some days they hammer it and some days they dont. Problem with swimbaits like this is that it may seem like they dont want it but on your last cast you will catch a 6 pounder. It is a gamble.
  4. Way to represent WVU, buddy! I'm sorry it didn't go your way, but you've still got bragging rights for life!
  5. One of our own (everythingthatswims) is in the bassmaster classic bracket final which airs live in a few minutes! Good luck bud! Let's Go Mountaineers!
  6. Maybe you dont consider spatterdock as lily pads but they can be so thick you cant go weightless
  7. Wrb or Catt (or someone else) has mentioned the zolo is similar in sensitivity to a gl nrx. But ikos offers options not available in zolo
  8. Active ramps are typically not good choice for fishing. Too much chaos. Quiet ramps can offer a couple fish sometimes.
  9. @Scott Roland Martin Ask him for yourself ☺
  10. Okuma tcs is best looking rod Ive ever used. I loved mine. Scott Martin legit uses them and won FLW with them and Jacob Wheeler has won BASS tournys with them.
  11. Didnt they use to do the bracket immediately after championship?
  12. Fish off is to determine sole angler to go to the classic
  13. Hmmm the blog eas from yesterday....no word on how they are doing today
  14. Just caught this chunk a few minutes ago!
  15. Team WVU and everythingthat swims is in 3rd place at the College bassmaster championship and will now be participating in the fish off today! Wish him luck today guys!
  16. I have a cronos spinning rod. It is basically a tatula with better components. I like it a lot but it doesnt even have a hook hanger. Typically Daiwa floods their product lines with variations which is what they are doing in the 150-200 range. If you are set on Daiwa you cant go wrong. They are all similar. Pick one that fits your hand best or looks nicest to you.
  17. Doesnt need to imitate anything really. Jumping shad or a bluegill chasing bugs on surface. Ive caught a couple decent bass on them but havent figured out best time. Usually like throwing it in windy conditions due to size and noise. Ive caught them on flat water though but it can be overwhelming.
  18. No luck. I havent had time lately to look. Just got married!
  19. Day 1: quantum pulse casting
  20. Spoiler Day 1: Minn Kota
  21. Possible spoilers below TW is having a contest for each day of Icast where in 3 videos there is a black TW koozie. If you find the videos you can enter the contest for prizes. Unfortunately day 1 has 188 videos and Ive yet to find one koozie despite skipping through vids. Not to mention my work productivity tanked! So if you feel like sharing what youve found we all here at bass resource can enter! Happy hunting!
  22. I would be investigsting WHY the other guy didnt see the lights. His mistake, yalls? Some people flick them off when fishing and yall may not have turned them back on.
  23. I did have Josh Douglas...sigh As for 99%...yes there are weekly prizes. Go to the group you are in and they will list the prizes available, including the bassmaster overall group. If you are first you win like a $1,000 gift card. 2nd is like 500. Others are gifts I believe.
  24. Of course the one time I forget to pick a team, my boy MDJ who I have relied on all season, is leading....when it rains it pours
