  1. Sorry, I put my hands down first. Fuego ct is a workhorse reel and I would have no issue having one on every rod and would save me enough money to splash on other things.
  2. Best value is fuego ct hands down My t3 1016 can cast without backlash when brakes set appripruately and max braking switch on. I literally set it up this way and give this reel to my fiance as she uses no thumb.
  3. We actually found a house in a very nice neighborhood on top of a large hill. It is a smaller house that has had renovations but has room for more so we can increase value and put our own stamp on the house. The issue is that there is a risk it may not appraise for agreed price when looking at comparables...even though it is much nicer overall than others we looked at in area. Seller agreed to come down on price if appraisal is low as they seemed to really love the letter we attached to our offer.
  4. You be boat flippin'?
  5. Ive read about taurine just not sure how clinically important it is especially when my beta alanin is cycled. I also drink a lot of zero cal monsters which have taurine...
  6. I havent taken taurine but I use all those others including acetyl carnitine and citrulline mallate.
  7. Hey al, what supps do you take if any? I make my own prework out with bulk supps. So much cheaper and more effective than those mass marketed pres.
  8. I dont compete but I do body build. Down to 14% bf with intermittent fasting and trying to eat more natural foods and homemade protein shakes. Trying to be as functionally strong as possible for sports and fishing and trying to develop an athletic physique while achieving low body is a hard balance to achieve.
  9. Viewed one today that we really like! May be some competition but will probably put in offer tonight. Is move in ready but has room for easy improvements to improve value for future.
  10. Water was a little low last I went about a month ago. The fishing is never bad. Shad I saw were in the backs of creeks but my humminbird was on fritz so I couldn't tell if they were further out. If it rains I suggest skin creek ramp as its more clear. If you want to fish a place with less traffic inside no wake zone then consider jacksonville landing unless it rains before your trip as it will get blown out.
  11. There are many good job opportunities in town for my field and just as many for her but that doesnt mean a position in DC or Pittsburgh wouldnt be an option to consider. We have investigated school districts and have knowledge of the good schools (few and far between). We rent now obviously but the rental market is worse than the housing market here. Paying a mortgage and associated costs is cheaper than almost all rental options outside of sardine can pseudo dorm rentals.
  12. Soon to be wife. I think everyone we work with and know knows we are looking to buy...this area is known to be an overpriced housing market which is one reason we are having to look at houses outside of town in other cities/towns. Good location in Morgantown at our price gives you very little sqft and parkingon street parking...
  13. Adding them to my tdz was a huge improvement...huge. A new modern daiwa reel doesnt need them imo
  14. 3 houses we really liked were under contract before we could even see them and that was within a couple days of being on market.
  15. We are searching and are in constant contact with realtor about possibilities. Most houses are 30 mins from work/school. Id at least like a place i can safely park a future boat but will settle for the right house. Our problem.is we both just started grad school and dont have time for fixer uppers (although we saw one yesterday that would make a great flip and probably come out with 100k profit) and it is hard to tell where our degrees will take us. Buying a house that has poor resale potential or one that we haven't finished fixing could really handcuff our ability to move in future. Sigh...
  16. So im becoming jaded at home buying. Its my first time (2nd really...my ex gf bought a house and i was involved) and weve looked at about 10 houses with no luck. My realtor is also a coworker with lots of experience. I know i have to accept i wont get a dream house...but the process with my ex was much quicker and found a move in ready house that was in budget with all our wishes...but now I find nothing even though my budget is higher. Just bad luck? Good houses are under contract before i have opportunity to view them. Anyone wish to share their experiences?
  17. I have the 76xf St means stinger tip which is a thin flexible tip with sic top. It helps not overpower light lures while giving you fast hooksets and a powerful backbone. My 76mml is almost a medium (duh) Fieder did use this rod for hairjigs before the sig series came out...he still probably uses it. I love it personally. Use it for nekos dropshots and hair jigs. Super sensitive. Only issue is lack of hook keeper.
  18. Its illegal in my state and many others
  19. Didnt know there was a differenxe between color diameters. May reconsider it next time I need heavy braid.
  20. Those lighter weights simply don't work well when being ripped like a jerkbait. They flutter and ascend too much which is good and all but not when you are trying to force feed smallmouth especially in deep water.
  21. Football head because 1. There were no 3/4oz or 1/2 tube heads, 2. It creates a sculpin/craw tail shape, 3. Less likely to snag in between rocks.
  22. I have 20lb on spinning. I dont recall diameter but its similar to smackdown. It is suppose to sink slowly but if it does it isnt noticable. My high vis yellow bled quickly and is now just white. You arent paying for quality....you are paying for importing it. There are plenty of domestics that are just as good for less.
  23. Im headed to a highland smallmouth lake this weekend and bought some 3/4oz football heads for my brown tubes. Fits nice and snug! Does anyone else do this with this much weight? Should be able to cover the entire water column while ripping it quickly.
  24. Man...soft jerkbait on top of the water is exactly like a fleeing shad. No reason to slow down. Really grabs fish attention. But I have watched boaters using zoom flukes and they can at times act like a topwater. Gambler and GYCB make soft jerkbaits that will stay just under the surface but ocassionally kiss the top which I like.
  25. I only follow up topwaters. I cant count the number of bass ive caught tossing a soft jerkbait or tube at a spot a bass just hit my topwater. A lot of times bass will just ram a topwater with nose to stun it resulting in a "missed" fish. Reality is they are just waiting for it to flutter under the water to them.
