Yar! The condition is overall pretty good, just a few dings and one dark mark above the gear ratio number. She needs new knob caps but that's easy. I'll get some more pictures up tonight, hopefully with a fish or two.
If you can bump it to $300 and want style points as well, look at the Megabass Orochi XX Extreme Misson Type F or Diablo Spec R. If you can do $270-280, wait 'til 4th of July and catch a Dobyns Extreme 703 or 743 on a 20% off sale somewhere.
100; 300 is the high capacity big bait reel. The H and P indicate retrieve speed and the L indicates left handed retrieve. I'm not a fan of the Lexa with the Tatula available for $100 or under and I find Falcon rods to be nothing special, especially at the lower end.
If you're going to purchase a P-Line product, I would recommend the CXX. That Hi Seas fluorocarbon coated line actually doesn't suck but it's pretty much just like a nylon mono that doesn't really float.
I'm going to reserve judgement until I get my hands on one. I want to be cautiously optimistic but Dobyns does not have a good track record of sensitivity relative to price. However, sensitivity is just one aspect of a rod's performance. I just wish they would do something with the locking nut and threads; that ECS seat + metal hood and uncovered nut just murders my fingers.
Lyrics are a bit lame but otherwise, two horns up. I love a good scream-growl combination. Look up some 3 Inches of Blood. Garaunteed to put a smile on your face!
