Anyone that has used/handled both of these cranking models and can tell me if the actions are the same? I have only been able to handle the premier in my area and really like the action of the rod for shallow cranks and was wondering does the avid model feel the same? The specs online are identical With both being medium moderate graphite with lure ranges of 1/8 to 5/8. So does the avid have the same moderate action with lots of bend down the blank?

I am interested as well. I have been looking at the MH 6'10". The lure ratings are 1/8-3/4 which is a pretty wide range. Wish there was a place close for me to hold a phenix. I'll report back if I decide to pick one up

Red eye shads are the only ones I have used. I have really only ever used metallic tennessee shad color but had very good luck. One side was completely white after a couple of fish so the finish was not durable on mine. Fish did not care at all as I caught them on the same lure all day. Also I think this is my first post!!
