  1. Has anyone tried the reins wacky head?looks to have a similar design to the revenge head. I’m just not sure about the hook.
  2. I emailed them and got no response and iv heard other people that have tried to contact them with no luck and TW is removing revenge baits from their website as they sell out.
  3. Since it looks like revenge baits is done I’m searching for a new hook that will hold up to heavy cover I liked the flippin wacker by revenge because it had a very strong hook and a good weed guard. Iv been scrolling through TW but with out the hooks in front of me I can’t tell how heavy the hooks are I typically throw my wacky worms on 15lb line with a 7’3” MH so it needs to be a stout hook. with that said I would like some options on what everyone else is having success with. thanks.
  4. Ok I have found myself in a bit of a rush to get my new skeeter rigged out for this weekend and I still have to get a new trolling motor. I have a very limited budget of $700 and I se e that BPS has a minn Kota maxxum 65lb thrust on sale for $650 right now I'm just worried the 65lbs won't be enough motor for a 18.5ft boat. What do you guys think my only other option is to get the minn Kota edge 70lb
  5. I'm currently looking ata 1999 skeeter zx185c and the boat is going to need a new trolling motor. I'm new to bigger rigs so I'm not sure what shaft length I need to be looking at if anyone can give me any advise it would help a lot Thanks
  6. X2 on the duckett I have 2 duckett 7'3 MH's they are my do anything rods
  7. Thanks everyone for the input! I'd really rather a glass rod and I'm starting to lean towards a duckett ghost in 7'6 MH. Just because most of my rods are duckett the only thing keeping it from happening is iv heard bad things about the eyes on ducketts popping off when you use them for cranking
  8. Whoops didn't mean to leave my budget out... I'm looking in the $100 to $170 range
  9. Well it's about time for a new cranking rod just thought I'd get some opinions on which ones are the best.
  10. I'm guessing they aren't very popular lol
  11. Ok I'm a huge duckett fan that's about all iv used for the past three years but I'm thinking it's time for a change. Iv been thinking about what rods I want to try next and iv came up with halo rods. Before I go all in and buy some I want to know what everyone thinks about them. Thanks
  12. You are going to find that pitching is very difficult with spinning tackle but it can be done. The biggest challenge is going to be accuracy since with spinning equipment you have very little spool control. If you want to really want to do these techniques to their fullest potential you might want to check on getting a good baitcaster setup.
  13. The only thing I see is you need more plastics and upgrade to tungsten weights. Also may want to get a better selection of wide gap hooks for T-rigs
  14. Well I just put my order in for 6 of them. The bait monkey wins again...
  15. I'll be putting my order in sometime this week I just have to give them a try. Thanks everyone for the input
  16. Have you had problems with them tracking one way or other out of the package or do they pretty much run true?
  17. I was having the same problem. The bait monkey has been running wild lately so now I'm having to hold him back a little lol.
  18. Here in louisiana no one has heard of his baits. I just happened to stubble upon his website earlier and from what I have seen they look really good. Thanks for the input!
  19. Just found this company and was thinking about ordering some of their head knocker buzz baits but before I do I wanted to know if any of you guys have used them, and what did you think about them? Also I'd like to know some of your personal favorite buzzbaits.
  20. I like to be different I throw a yum Woolleybug and R.I kinky beavers
  21. I can't speak for the carbonlite but I purchased a duckett ghost last week. I haven't really used it much but I played around in my pond with it. Extremely lite and sensitive I believe it's going to be one of my favorite rods this year!
  22. Chug bug in baby bass
  23. I just got the new duckett ghost 6'10" M great rod extremely light!
  24. I went this past Saturday morning but I didn't get to stay very long I fished until about 10 In the morning and caught 7 but most were small I was able to get into some schooling fish right after daylight, but after the early bite it seemed to just die.
  25. To me fishing is the best when the river is between 22.6 and 24 feet in Monroe and on a hard fall every little mouth or drain will be loaded with bass.
