  3. Brandywine Creek==small spinnerbaits, tubes and twisters Summertime wet wading or canoe

  7. For that boat a tiller is a must for me.Power t&t,elect start. Is that boat a Lund Pro V. As said already the 40hp may be a little light. C22
  8. I wear a full vest with a concealed orange hood for visibility if needed. Also a biggy imo,it has concealed crotch straps.
  9. We had a local pond closed because of trash, but reopened after a group got together and cleaned it up. It was nice of the owner to do so.The pond is right beside the road so not all the trash comes from fishermen.Of course the cleanups will have to be perpetual. I lost two other places just this year because of the trashites.
  10. Heres one that I got away with. I did some work on the trailer that required a portable drill. Work all done and 80 miles later the drill was laying right where I left it==on the tongue of the trailer on a flat surface and not locked onto anything. Lucky C22
  11. Great looking fish. Vertical jigging them is something I could get into.
  12. If you launch enough crazy things will happen. I suggest you make a check list of the correct procedure and stick with it every time. Same for retrieving. Don`t be interrupted while your in progress. I use the rope to the trailer method. LOL C22
  13. For the last three years I kept looking at the trim/tilt motor on my Honda 50HP 4 stk and wondering"how does that thing continue to work".It is 17 years old and has rust scale almost a 1/4" thick. It died Sat as I loaded up on the trailer.I managed to get the motor up high enough to get home.It came off the boat fairly easy . I tried heat but the four mounting bolts were stuck tight so I drilled the their heads off to facilitate removal of the pump.Dealing with the bolts will be a challenge for sure. Stay tuned. C22
  14. I have not seen any. They look military. What I searched indicates use for fiber optics. They don`t look to be for power. Maybe for transducer inline connection. ? C22
  15. OINK+OINK Great catch
  16. http://www.cnn.com/2016/04/25/us/nfl-wins-deflategate-appeal-tom-brady-suspension/
  17. BnC. Nice looking job. I have a Liftmaster 1/2 hp chain drive with 14 years on it to operate a 16' insulated door. It has two torsion springs to assist. One very minor adjustment required. That's it. We use that way to exit /enter the house 95% of the time. C22
  18. This minute ==ALONE One girly guy tapped out before the first nite fall. Something about bear scat that alarmed him. I haven`t learned the cast yet to make a call on the winner
  19. You guys are spoiled with such good smallies. Thanks for the report.
  20. How old is it. The brushes may be worn and arching instead of making a good contact. It may not be dead ,just in need of rebuild. What model engine? I have a few good ones. C22 But then it could be this. Your smoke is escaping== lmao Electrical Theory- A Treatise on the Importance of Smoke by Joseph Lucas (Prince of darkness) All electrical components and wiring harnesses depend on proper circuit functioning, which is the transmission of charged ions by retention of the visible spectral manifestation known as "smoke". Smoke is the thing that makes electrical circuits work. Don't be fooled by scientists and engineers talking about excited electrons and the like. Smoke is the key to all things electrical We know this to be true because every time one lets the smoke out of an electrical circuit, it stops working. This can be verified repeatedly through empirical testing. For example, if one places a large copper bar across the terminals of a battery, prodigious quantities of smoke are liberated and the battery shortly ceases to function. In addition, if one observes smoke escaping from an electrical component such as a Lucas voltage regulator, it will also be observed that the component no longer functions. The logic is elementary and inescapable! The function of the wiring harness is to conduct the smoke from one device to another. When the wiring harness springs a leak and lets all the smoke out of the system, nothing works right afterward. theres more Starter motors were considered unsuitable for British motorcycles for some time largely because they regularly released large quantities of smoke from the electrical system. It has been reported that Lucas electrical components are possibly more prone to electrical leakage than their Bosch, Japanese or American counterparts. Experts point out that this is because Lucas is British, and all things British leak. British engines leak oil, British shock absorbers, hydraulic forks, and disk brake systems leak fluid, British tires leak air and British Intelligence leaks national defence secrets. Therefore, it follows that British electrical systems must leak smoke. Once again, the logic is clear and inescapable. Sometimes you may miss the component releasing the smoke that makes your electrical system function correctly, but if you sniff around you can often find the faulty component by the undeniable and telltale smoke smell. Sometimes this is a better indicator than standard electrical tests performed with a volt-ohm meter. In conclusion, the basic concept of transmission of electrical energy in the form of smoke provides a clear and logical explanation of the mysteries of electrical components and why they fail. "A gentleman does not motor about after dark." - Joseph Lucas, 1842-1903
  21. Jerks on an ice line. Love it,my kinda trip. Nice vid C22
  22. Use a jab saw or a hacksaw blade to cut a section out, maybe 3/4" to 1". Remove that and the rest should collapse with a small chisel or screwdriver. Hope this helps C22
  23. As stated by others ,the predators keep my waters in check.I have many salt species to eat so the bass don`t make the cut.[the cut=yuk yuk] True==For dinner tonight I ate some pickerel breaded deep fried. Nice white meat and very tasty. I watched a utube vid that is excellent for deboning them. I think pike are basically the same.
  24. I can tell you this for sure about 3M 5200 sealant, if the surfaces are properly prepared. It goes on soft and mushy and in a week its crow bar time to get it off. Buy the small tubes because the large caulking gun tubes go to waste most of the time, even stored in the freezer.
  25. I have to add the corney old expressions.BOAT Break Out Another Thousand Two happiest days of a boat owners life The day they buy it===& The day the get rid of it. To be honest, Iv`e had good things to sell with peeps coming to really low ball me. I tell them I`m not running a charity. The low prices the op mentioned in the other post would have me walking away too. Be patient, sometimes things are meant to be.We went thru 33 houses before a purchase. It turned out good. C22
