  1. how is the spider wire ez flouro? is it a good cuality line?
  2. I just started using flourocarbon I usually Fish braid and dont know much about good flourocarbon. How is the spider wire ez flouro? Will I get break offs mid cast using spinners? Is it quick to get abrasions? Or should I go buy viscious flourocarbon? Thx!!
  3. I typically fish spinners, cranks, and soft plastics on one baitcast combo. So which line and lb test is the better choice and why?
  4. The color of the water is a greenish color abt 6 in of visibility. Its a man made lake in Brooklyn, NY (prospect park lake) inside a park, so not the cleanest water, some trash, fallen trees, rocks, sandy and gravel bottom and along the perimeter there are tall tall bamboo looking weeds, not sure of their name. I have also seen large pods of really tiny black fish of abt 200-300 fish so im guessing they might be baby catfish, i have seen little kids catch a bluegill in the park and sunfish and also around this time last year i have seen the bass chasing fish and blowing up in a couple parts of the lake. Any recommendations on a trailer hooks size for a 3/8 oz spinner would help too, thank u!
  5. How are the bass pro shops lazer eye spinnerbaits? So far i know the fish in my lake will bite white or black skirts with indiana or colorado, what other skirt colors should i try nd also what size trailer hook should i buy, 1/0 or 2/0 (the only spinners i have are strike kings with trailers already) THX!!
  6. Im thinking about getting a new bait cast setup, I just need a good solid reel that has good casting ability that can really get a bait out there , for rods I just need something that'll do the job (preferably a 2pc). the most I would really spend is anywhere from 80-150 bucks
  7. any suggestions for a good lb test fluoro to use for fishing cranks n plastics?
  8. that's what I think too I guess because iv always had horrible experiences with mono nd because they're similar in appearance I still feel like it carries the same characteristics as mono.
  9. sounds like you got yourself a plan lol let me know how that swim bait goes you'll probably hook urself a nice one
  10. Hey guys I had a killer summer with soft plastics and cranks fishing some heavy pressured waters in the heart of Brooklyn and was wondering what do you guys use for the fall, for pressured and non-pressured fishin
  11. also what is the point of hi vis line
  12. im shocked that fluoro is more abrasion resistant then braid, shouldn't it be the other way around? iv always thought braid was the best for casting and durability
  13. The lake I fish has a bunch of submerged cover, anything from 100lb logs to pieces of jagged sheet metal. The braided line I currently have spooled on my bait caster is power pro #15 and it digs into itself constantly does fluorocarbon doe the same, would it be a good idea to switch or will I end up getting unexpected brake offs? Also does fluorocarbon have the same characteristics as mono that it likes to kink up and get tangled?
