  1. I just take them out of the bag, throw it on the jig and fish it! No muss, no fuss. Simple as that.
  2. I'd recommend...
  3. I fished the Silver Hawk rod this weekend. I'm happy with this rod. I'm fishing a braid mainline with a floor leader. It worked well for wacky rigged senkos and light Texas rigged worms, which is pretty much all I used with it this weekend. I'm pretty happy with this purchase. A couple from this afternoon.
  4. Well I ended up with a Fenwick Silverhawk. I was in my local Cabelas and noticed they were marked down from 99.99 to 69.99. After comparing it to one of the Mojo rods I decided it was just too good of a deal to pass up. I like the way the handle/grip fits my hand so that was a big plus for me. I'm sticking with the Mojo for my baitcasting rods as I throw a baitcaster much more than my spinning outfit.
  5. Thanks for the responses guys. Appreciate it!
  6. I'm looking to upgrade a couple of my spinning rods. I own a couple of the Mojo Bass casting rods and like them a lot. But, I was recently looking at the Carbon Lite rods and they look pretty nice, have great reviews. How would you all compare the two?
  7. Looking at their web site I only see a 7'-2" in a medium action, no MH. http://t.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-Johnny-Morris-CarbonLite-Series-Spinning-Rod/product/1406210641364/
  8. It looks like a take off of the Havock Ike's Devils Spear.
  9. Which Spot Remover jig head do you like?
  10. FWIW I've been using the Chigger Craw and the Rage Craw, I love the Rage Craw but, lately the Missile Baits D Bomb has been getting most of my bites. Although I doubt I'll ever stop fishing the Rage Craw, I have been impressed with the D Bomb.
  11. Congrats to KVD! Wow! BTW, MFBAB you can watch the Elites on Bassmaster live online.

  17. I know I wish I was there! The big fish of the day was a 6lb. 3oz. giant.
  18. I recently bought a few packages of these to try out. I'm not sure what makes them different other than a small difference in shape but, these things are outfishing my Ragebugs and my R.I. Sweet Beavers! Very nice bait and they hold up pretty well on the hook. I'm impressed! I've mainly been throwing the Bruiser color and of course Green Pumpkin.

  20. Very sorry for your loss. Condolences to you and your family.
  21. Nice!
  22. BR? What is it?
  23. Since you'd fish these with a steady retrieve, it seems like you'd need something to keep them apart to get the best action.

    Frogs

I fish a lot of frogs. My best producer for the past couple years has been the Booya Pad Crasher. The KVD Sexy frog is a close second and the Spro after that. I've wanted to like the Live Target frog but it just doesn't seem to produce like the others, plus it tends to flip over sometimes which annoys me. The others don't do that.
