  1. A texas rigged 7" Berkley Power Worm.
  2. I received the reel today. At first inspection, the reel is a nice looking reel. It feels well put together. Very smooth. I’m pairing it up with a 7’ MH Carbonlite 2.0 rod for frogging! As an added bonus, BP had the Carbonlites on sale for $99 this weekend.
  3. Tackle Warehouse, Cabela's (live 5 minutes from one), occasional WallyWorld raids, and BassPro.
  4. I ordered one. It will be my first KK reel. I'm usually a Lews and Shimano guy.
  5. Is there a question here?
  6. I have mostly 3/8 with a few 1/4oz. There are a few shallow spots that I fish and like a slower presentation there that I use the 1/4oz. for. Outside of that I use 3/8oz. exclusively. I don’t fish deep water so anything heavier is not necessary for me.
  7. I use 14 to 17lb. Trilene XT green on my jig and worm rods.
  8. Pretty cool Classic! Christie has to be crushed! All he had to do is catch a limit. Watching Bass live I kept saying to myself he should slow down and flip some of those larger docks. But who knows, maybe that wouldn’t have produced anything. It just seemed like was fishing too fast. One thing for sure though, Jordan Lee is for real and has some serious chops when it comes to catching bass! He earned both wins and that's impressive! Big congrats to him!
  9. R.I.P. He was indeed one of the good ones! Prayers for his family!
  10. The Super Fluke is one of my go to baits. I fish it weightless with a 4/0 offset worm hook, sometimes a 5/0 if I want a faster fall. My main colors are White Pearl and White Ice and occasionally the Green Pumpkin. I generally throw it on a 6' 8" medium action rod with 14lb. Trilene XT. If I'm in really clear water I'll size down the line to 12lb. I catch a lot of fish all throughout the season with this bait!
  11. I used to be a big jig-n-pig fisherman. I used up the last of my Uncle Josh pork chunks a while back. I know plastics are more convenient and “almost” as effective, IMHO but, I miss fishing with the pork chunks. Has anyone seen anything remotely like a pork chunk on the market recently?
  12. I use a weighted swim bait hook for them. I also fish a lot of pads if the swim bait rides up, I’ll pull it over the pad and let it drop into the next opening pause for a second and keep reeling.
  13. Tacklewarehouse.com FTW!
  14. Myoutdoortv.com 9.99 per month. That’s how I watch. In addition to MLF they have a ton of other outdoor stuff to watch too!
  15. My initial take away from this week is, Lefebre talks a lot! Poche is crazy intense! Never count out Palaniuk. I love everything they're doing with this format! Very informative and fun to watch!
