Back when I smoked (camels) I was standing outside on my deck at around 12 am, when i see this led very small light up near my 2nd garage. I watched it for a few seconds before i ran into my house to grab a shotgun. I went back to find it moving great distances in really short times. It was pitch black but it appeared over me head then went out. It appeared over 20 yards away in just a few seconds. I was shaken up, what was this thing? Was i being watched by another world? The whole day i wondered what the hell i had just seen. The next night i saw them again, but this time there were a lot more, and then i realized they were lightning bugs..... and i felt like an idiot

I doubt you will regret it. Its nice to be able to walk to spots without your hands full. Or walk banks casting away without having to worry about leaving a tackle box in a spot.

This is how it all started. I found this lure (hula dancer) in one of my great grandfathers tackle boxes and decided to redo it. While i was waiting for the paint to dry I got bored and started cutting up a piece of wood with a dremel tool. I was going for a small popper And here is the finished product. Special thanks to comfortably numb for hooking me up with the hula tails! I call them the green hornet, and the rainbow fish. All done with rattle can so not near as cool as the airbrush stuff. Unfortunatly with the popper i couldnt find eye screws any smaller so i had to go with the smallest the hardware store had. I also dressed the tail myself and im no fly tyer, but hopefully the fish wont mind.

i switched to a backpack this season and love it. Makes it easy to just throw on your back and walk the shoreline casting

There professionals for a reason, even though they ride the bench its not like they are knocking down hot dogs and nachos and not practicing at all. The only reason ray hasnt played more games is because he is just coming off the DL. Even Pierre mentioned Ray was 17-1 in the regular season. Crawford even had an advantage knowing where the puck was going. You dont score 5 glove side goals shooting for the stick side. Even though Tuukka let in more goals, he had a much better game than crawford.

This really doesnt even warrant a response. Did you watch the game? Crawford has no where near the consistency of Ray. About the only tough goal crawford got was the one that came over the back. That game should of ended in regulation. I like crawford but he goes hot and cold a lot through out the season.

The fish have really slowed way down lately here. So i threw on i think a 5 inch senko that was black/red flake. I figured why not give it a shot because i like you had never caught anything with them. 2nd cast with it and i landed the biggest largemouth ive ever pulled out of that spot. I was shocked. Of course the senko was no where to be found. those things rip off faster than a stripper's clothing. Ive caught 1 fish and probably lost 5 of them already.

I think thats just a southern thing. Growing up i always called everything coke, slowly though I became Hoosierized through friends and now i call it all pop

but if i were in tournament i would of been in a boat and it would of fallen into the boat. I was standing on a rock that probably had 4'x4' sticking out of the water Im making excuses i know..... I read somewhere that if you put your thumb on their tongue they settle down, any truth to that? Ive never consciously went for the tongue, i just stick my thumb in there.

i know that feeling too. I had just bought a new frog last year and after 15 mins of fishing it i lost control of my cast and put it in a tree that i couldnt get it out of. I forgot to add yesterday that I was fishing a worm in the beginning and just as i was pulling it out of the water to re cast a small rock bass or something hit the tail and pulled the worm clean off the hook.
