  1. I hope so. We usually catch a ton of walleye on accident while small mouth fishing. Last year we hardly caught any. We will be staying at Nitti's for the week. Great accomodations.
  2. It sure is! May 25-June 2
  3. Heading back to Mille Lacs May 25 - June 2. I can't wait. Absolutely love that lake.
  4. 2022 Phoenix 920 Elite, 250 Pro XS, 8' Blades, Lowrance Ghost, Lowrance 12" Lives, Rite Hite Turret. My second Phoenix and I Love It!
  5. Any body have one?? Pros, Cons??? Thinking about getting one, just looking to see if anyone has any opinions on them.
  6. Try to test drive as many as you can. That's what I did and I wound up buying a Phoenix 721 ProXP. Great ride and was the most boat for the money.
  7. I prefer insert free. They seem smoother.
  8. I have a reel that I have set up just for skipping docks. I have found that if I only keep 50-60 yards of line on it, 25lb AbraizX, I have zero backlashes. Also, an Arkie head is about the best for skipping.
  9. Kentucky Lake would be #1 for me. And i'm surprised nobody suggested Pomme de Terre. That lake is on fire right now.
  10. Lews all the way. Best bang for the buck by far.
  11. My friend has a Lowrance 332c unit on his boat. Last year, the depth quit reading. It would just flash 60'. A couple days ago, he replaced the transducer, and it began working again. Today, it stopped working again. Any ideas??
  12. I really like Norman cranks. I have had several break the bill, but for the price, and as many fish as they hook, its well worth it. Broken bills after I blast it off a rock or sea wall will happen, just part of the game.
  13. Check out Sieberts Zenith and Extreme Shakey heads. Like everything else Mike sells, these are the highest quality from the hook to the finish.
  14. It will work for a bit in the morning and late evening in the summer months, but in the fall, i have thrown a black 3/4oz buzz bait all day on the Lake of the Ozarks. Just one of those deals where you gotta experiment and see what the fish tell you.
  15. The band is rubber, the wire hand tied copper. No chance of the wire ever coming apart like a band will if exposed to the elements.
  16. Quite a bit. It gives the jig that larger profile that gets the attention of the bass. Makes it hard to resist.
  17. Sieberts Fogy
  18. I like the Chartruse/white and the bluegill colors in the fogy. Black/blue I use at night.
  19. I have used Rajus in the past and the quality is excellent.
  20. Sieberts Fogy is top notch. And the price makes it even better.
  21. The Rage Bug is a great jig trailer. Gives your jig more bulk. Its also great texas rigged. In the photo, you will see a black/blue Rage Bug, a black/blue Rage DB craw, a green pumpkin Rage Chunk, and a green pumpkin w/gold and purple flake Rage Craw. Many different options to present to the fish depending on the conditions.
  22. The Tournament Pro is lighter, lots of carbon fiber. They fish better than any reel I have ever owned. I have 6 tournament pros, 1 tournament, 1 bb1, 1 super duty, and I just recently purchased a Team Lews Gold Spin. That thing is amazing. All Lews products are top notch.
  23. If its over 60degrees, im usually barefoot. Cooler than that, my trusty New Balance shoes.
