Last year I picked up some of the Falcon Lake Dredge Brush Jigs with Falcon lake rage tails and did great on them. Usually its Candy craw or Blue Craw. For some reason I can't buy a bite on black and blue

Another one that went every year until they banned all black guns. Then I went once since it's been run by the NRA, and it's just not the same. Pretty much all the mom and pop shops are gone, and it's full of businesses instead. I will be going this year only because I want to grab a few things that I can't get in this liberal state in which I reside.

I agree with AJ on this one, color means more to me then them. If I'm fishing topwater I try and use a color that will contrast against the sky. I just feel it's makes it easier for the fish to see. On a cloudy day I'll use a black lure where as if it's a blue bird day I'll use something with some flash or white.

Mouse, mouse and did I say mouse. well I guess I'd have to add a spot remover and a blue pearl shad. I'd get both 3/8 and 1/2oz. I really like the hammered blades if you can find them, if not smooth works as well. I have all the colors listed as well as a few others, but a mouse color is always tied on my spinnerbait rod for some reason.

War Eagle in mouse color for the win. It's a clear water killer!!!
