Next time get the FX tour premium 110 and they'll suspend perfectly, the slow float works great as in the summer time. When the water gets warm the slow float will draw more bites then a suspending bait
Ok guys who fished them, do you like them, how's the action, do they catch fish? I've been looking at them and since I'm getting ready to place an order with TW I may pull the trigger on some. Thanks in advance
I actually use an older model St Croix Mojo MH pitchin rod for frogs, it works pretty good. It has the backbone and the fast to be able to drive them bigger hooks home. The duck I believe has treble hooks, and if so you would want more of a moderate action rod so the hooks don't get ripped out. So if it was me I'd get the larger duck and throw it with the swimbait setup you already own, and get a dedicated frogging rod
This is a decent swimbait rod and priced on the lower end, I use one of their older models and it's been a great rod:

Andy Nelsons is ok but far from great(but thats just my opinion). A company I do a ton of business with has a customer appreciation day every year, and they have had Andy Nelsons cater is for the last 4 years. I honestly think Red Hot and Blue has some of the best BBQ around here with Mission right behind them. There is a place called Dickies that I here is really good, but haven't had a chance to get by one. I'd love to open a small carry out BBQ joint just like in Texas, a place where they just wrap your food in some brown paper and send you out the door. The majority of the time they're the best places.
Honestly my family believes my pulled pork blows Missions away, but their brisket and jalapeno and cheese sausage are the bomb.
Try taking their KC classic BBQ sauce and mix it with the Smokey Mountain BBQ sauce next time, it's amazing.
In response to the Italian food thread, let's talk BBQ. Who's doing it and let's see some of it, also what are your favorites? Are you a charcoal, gas or and electric type of person? Ok guys lets hear it and best of all lets see it. Here are a couple pics of some food I did for a party last year, yum yum!!!!!
