I have always done well with a tiny torpedo the silver with black markings and back. Throw it out and pop your rod tip to make it zip across the water the prop on the back will throw lots of water and make a good bubble trail. I have caught both numbers as well as some quality fish as well. I have also had success with the 31/2 or 4 in bass assassin in the black and grey color a small worm hook and a eratic action and its game on. If you have a problem with the fish missing the assassin I have also slid a small treble hook onto the worm hook and that improved my hook ups by far.

I have been fishing for about 36 years now and I still get excited for every fish. My excitement starts with the bite and does not stop until the fish is in the boat or on the bank. Now for some ike style excitement that would come when my son catches his first bass 2lbs or up he has caught plenty of dinks just nothing of good size yet, I almost jump out of my skin when he sets the hook and starts fighting a fish I am jumping up and down grabbing the net and when he lands the fish I yell and scream for him. I love to see the look on his face when he catches a fish.

I have been a QR fan for more than 20 yrs. Just saw the new lineup on HDNet concerts and I am sorry to say they are not very good in my opinion. The new singer does not have near the power in his voice like the original singer did. They played Mental Health and it was just so sad the difference between the old and the new.
I have a tournament on the gun powder river in 2 weeks. I have fished there 1 time in the past and did not do so well. So I am hoping that some of you guys can give me some tips on this location. Thanks in advance for helping me with this matter.

I don't need 100 spots. 30 or 40 will do ;D I have fished the lake many times before but always in the fall or later in the year than March. Looking for as much info as I can get before we prefish so we have a better idea where and what. That lake is tough enough without having to go in blind and dumb. Thanks again everyone for the information and the advice. Please keep it coming.

I have a tournament on Raystown Lake at the end of March. I could really use some input on where and what for that lake for that time of year. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
