Ok guys I thought of An idea for a cool rig. Tell me how you think it will work. I want to rig up a mojo rig with a 3/8 oz weight about 15 inches above a size one seedless wacky hook and wacky rig an elaztech finesse worm to the hook. The idea is that you slow drag it along the bottom and then pause it when it pauses because of the small hook and boiency of the elaztech it will glossary the worm from 3 inches of the bottom during the drag to 15 inches off the bottom when it pauses. I'm thinking all the fish have seen a wacky rig slowly falling down but never rising up which should have them biting. What do you think?

I just lay them on an angle of my 4.5 foot bed

Drop shot with like 6 inches from hook to weight with a 4 inch finesse style worm and just shake it. You will kill them with out a doubt.

Try a drop shot just play with how far set you weight out so you can make the hook sit rite above the weeds and just nose hook a worm and shake it.

Ok guys I am looking for a spinning rod that's 6`6" to 7' in a medium light power for fishing senkos and shaky heads maybe drop shot. But I only want to spend like 70 to 100 bucks on it.so what are your suggestions also I would not be opposed to a combo for under 130 as I still need a reel. Also I am really only interested if.it comes in a 1 piece. Thanks for the help.

The best areas to fish them are in Lilly pads and top water vegetation. And when the water is a bit warmer. Use a 7 foot heavy action rod and 50 lb braid. Although you can fish them any time with any thing I caught my first top water fish of the season yesterday on a hallow body frog doing across pads with my 6`8" medium heavy in 65 degree water so you don't have to stick to these guide lines. Just give them little hoops across the top of the water and slow down more when you are in a hot sPot. Wait a good 3 seconds to set the Hook when a fish explodes our just wait until you can feel the weight of the fish on your line. Make sure you have a good hook set because those are big hooks. And if the the bass misses it be sure to remain calm and just keep the same hoping pattern you had going. Hope all this helps.

hey guys im new on the forum. ok so i am a pond shore fisherman 99% of the time. well i am entering in my first ever tournament on may 19 on clinton lake il and i have never fished the lake before. so help me out. were should i go what should i throw. any tips for my first ever tourney. any advise you can give will help. thanks allot.
