  1. Most of teh time it is whenever I get a solid pattern going. But as far as time of the year goes I would say in Wisconsin; early summer, spawn and post-spawn. This is what I find lends to the biggest limit of bass
  2. Wow that is somthing good to think about, I like that. Thank you!
  3. This is kind of a trail and error thing. But for me it all depends, somtimes I want to cover as much water as possiable just trying to get a bite. Other times I know there are fish there so I just keep grinding away to fiqure out what they want. Many times this will lead to a pattern
  4. Check out Central Wisconsin Bass Anglers on their facebook page. They do good tournamnets but are not affilatied with the FLW or B.A.S.S Just resonable tournamnet entry fees and good payouts.
  5. Our Wisconsin highschool state bass torunamnet this year will be held June 7, 2015 on Lake Wisconsin. I was wondering if anybody has fished this or knows of people who have and any informantion I might want to know. I also have a veiw questions; will the bass be in post spawn? Where to fish? and other general facts/information. I am doing extencive research on teh lake via maps but I would like to talk to some people to gain more knowledge about the lake so I will be prepared when we go and prefish it.
  6. I am going to try that electrical tape idea. Looks very effective
  7. Overall 1. Aaron Martens 2. Casey Ashley 3. Cliff Pace 4. Ott Defoe 5. Edwin Evers These are my top picks I feel like any of them could win but I am pulling for Edwin Evers, but I think Martens will win and Ashley will be big or bust
  8. Aaron Martens is my pick. He can catch them and the way this Classic will be with the weather it sets up for him
  9. No the weigh ins are pretty cool to witness. But the MLF format is really cool
  10. That is pretty cool that he did that
  11. This did not happen to me but I have herd of people offering to " buy fish " usually off the co-angler
  12. Wish I could go, up here in Wisconsin that is a long way
  13. Me as well I like how he breaks it down and talks about what he is doing in terms the viewer can understand
  14. That's pretty cool WOW
  15. I want to download the Navionics Web app, I want to know if when u have no service will it still work and show me contour lines and the general map
  16. Yeah it was on Bassmaster
  17. The TBF is doing there yearly buy a $50 rod and we will pay your membership. I was wondering what the quality of these rods are, it is a Medium Heavy Graphite 7' rod. I think this is a good deal but I am just a little nervous because it is a $50 rod and the membership would cost me $25 (for Student Angler Federation) otherwise, so that is a $25 rod. But I know that the TBF is a good organization, so I was juts looking for you guys input on it, thanks
  18. I am looking at getting some new electronics with a GPS on it. I saw the Mark-4 with GPS I love the price and I know some peope will say spend a little more to get a better one, but I just cannot afford to. My question is I want the built in map that comes with it to have a the contour lines of the lake. Not just a grewscale "blob" of the lake. I know it is grewscale, but I want to know if the Mark-4 built in map will have contour lines that come with it, if not how much do these maps cost to buy. Thank you
  19. Florida has alot of them I saw thanks, one problem I am from Wisconsin. But I might find one and I will be down there next spring so it might work out thanks alot for the help
  20. I use it as a search bait some times, but have found that they can be effective in almost any condition and application. I would use paddle tail as a trailer. What you trailier it iwth is key. I absoulte love using a swim jig and I belive that if they are are used right you can be very effcient with them.
  21. I am looking for an older used bass boat, I have a motor and just want to upgrade my boat. I saw a 1980' s quantum for $ 500 just boat needed some TLC but was safe, should have jumped on it but did not. Any one know of any cheaper under 1 k bass boats? I know this is a unreasonable amount but just wondering if not that's fine I love my boat I have now
  22. That looks really effective
