I would say 3/8 if you only can get a view. Here's why, big bass will still bite smaller baits, but in those tough days you might need a smaller bait to catch a fish ( any size) and that 1/2 will just be to big and bulky in those days
That is smart for flippin small cover but if I were you I would still want done tough braid fir that thick cover. Sometimes you need that safety net and horse power to pull em out
I know some might think they are cheap, but I like the Everstart batteries. They have been good for me and what I have put them through ( everyday for at least 6 hours fishing in the summer months) a lot of that time spent on the trolling motor.
That is very true..... BTW nice job at Nationals that is a pretty cool feat. What you said is so true, the things I have learned in clubs is amazing
FYI I was in the conference tournament on Lake Erie with you, we had some troubles in the morning and had to fish that crappy river haha
