  1. Berkley makes a great tackle bag, it has plenty of room and looks pretty cool too!!!!!
  2. If I ever had a couple million dollars laying around I would defiantly do that. See if you could make it as real as possible, the only problem would be emissions from the boat. You also would have to have a Clear or glass celling to allow light to get in. But if ever do this I will call you up and we will hammer em' together
  3. It is not set in stone but this Wednesday I meet with my school principle about a Bass Fishing club through the TBF, but if it goes through we plan to reach out to a Local gass station, and a local grocery store (excluding all the Fishing related business).
  4. Without a doubt I would say Yum Wooly Bug. That being said I think even they do not hold a candle to the Berkley Havoc Skeet Reese Pit Boss..... This bad boy T-Rigged is LETHAL
  5. Fish are cold blooded, so in the winter months and when the water gets cold they are a lot less active. Bass do not feed all winter like they do in the summer, it slows down. Muskie/Northern they feed all winter though. My best guess as to why the hole does not detire them is food is probably harder to come by in the winter so it is an easy meal.
  6. I do not no if it works for gears but I would see if gas works, I do not know though so I would do some asking around first..... BEST BET GET AN ABU GARCIA
  7. I go to school, workout, homework and then research and fine tune my gear..... always looking to get better EVERDAY
  8. I would take your swim bait and work the edges of the drop off during the sprig and then the deeper points in the summer, this is what I have read to do so it is by no means my experience..... what is though is that swim baits are terrible search baits, so make sure you have fish in the live well (In a tournament) or see them on your Graph before you go that Method
  9. Hahahahaha I wish I could have that problem, we have no school in the entire state of Wisconsin due to cold weather..... it is -32 and the lake I fish has over 4 feet of ice.....
  10. I am in the same boat as he is and have the same questions, I love the sport and want to do allI can to get better
  11. I am also new to the tournament world and have the same questions he does, I love fishing it is just that my boat is not tournament "material"
  12. School, Lift, Homework..... Then research fishing and organize tackle and keep trying to learn more to one day go pro
  13. Hey buddy I am 17 and from Wisconsin, also a tournament angler and just got my first bow for my birthday in November..... Gret to see I am not the lone young bass tournament angler. What tournaments do you fish?
  14. Holy crap man that is sweet, I am in the proses of trying to get a club started in my school, but sometimes it seems like I am the only one. Good for you and good to know that theirs more like me out there, at' a boy!
  15. I am writing a paper for school on bass fishing, and I need help on my last paragraph. I would like to explain to the reader the reason I fish (spend countless hours of research, learning and practice all in a dream to become a BASSMASTER ELTE SERIES ANGLER). So far I have I fish because fishing is me. I know we all share A Deep love for Fishing, so can you help me out and explain why we fish, be creative at first it seems easy but when you think about it, it is actually not that easy. Thank you for your help.
  16. I have never personally used those reels or the KVD tour rods but I can talk from perspective of the Abu Garcia VERITAS..... They are one of the best Rods I have ever used. The best is the Abu Garcia Vendetta
  17. I have tried to before but have not relay had much action. Got bit a couple times. Big reason I think you loose the stealth aspect.

  19. My favorite Berkley Havoc bait is the Skeet Reese Pit Boss. HANDS ON THE BEST
  20. Well I would definitely say that there are some big Bulls in there for sure. I Know am only 16 but I am in an advanced college prep course for Environmental Science. So with the knowledge that I have gained from that class and all the years of bass fishing I have done there are definitely big ones in there due to "Survival of the fittest" law. -As for how to get them I would say try a deep diving crank bait, preferable a Rapala DT series (to your preferred depth). Focus just on this, you will catch less fish but hopefully they will be of more quality.
  21. I live in La Crosse Wisconsin, and this weekend I plan on going bass fishing, on the Mississippi, I have never fished the Mississippi because we have a cabin in Northern Wisconsin that my dad and I always fish. So does anybody have any tips for my dad and I.
  22. Hey congratulations and welcome to the sport... if ya have any questions I or I'm sure plenty of others on this site will be more than willing to help you out.
  23. Meet him back stage at a Elite event Incredible Angler
  24. Sometimes the bass just to that there is no two ways around it... but whenever they do that I just keep changing colors until I find the one they like. If that doesn't work then I tri putting scent on my bait ( unless it is a soft plastic in which I always use Berkley Power Bait the bass LOVE the smell and feel) Good Luck let me know how it works for you!
  25. I can honestly say I have never seen a pro use one bait but are sponsored by a different company... All I know is that if I was sponsored by Rapala I wouldn't be using a Strike King KVD Crank Bait! I'd only use Rapala. These pros on the pay role for some of there sponsors and I would say most pros have the pride to be loyal to there sponsors. But I still don't have a problem with someone using one bait but saying they used another because of sponsor obligations. We are forgetting that there is a business side to the game, if these pros don't cash checks some don't get paid (others get salaries from sponsors regardless) but even if they don't place they may not get sighed back on. So I would do what it takes to WIN.
