Yes, my main goal was to win the Wisconsin High school State SAF Championship..... I won, and move on to Huron, OH in September for Central Conference Regionals
I recently just finished a class on goal setting and making a "Game plan for life".....The main point was you cannot let anyone tell you you cannot do something, and to just believe.
I dream of being a pro bass angler and I truly believe I will through God and hard work.
So I have a question how many of you want to be pro bass anglers (Yes/no) and the do you believe you will (Yes/No)
Answer just yes/no for both like this; YES, YES
Then below explain your answer, but for the top just put yes/no
Thanks for the responses
They get a penalty for having a dead fish but that is a really good question, maybe they put them back for turtle food, or maybe they just through them out. Either way I hope they do it respectively
My first two tournaments I took dead last (with my dad) and believe me it ate me up, for someone who wants to be a pro angler and believe I will it was hard to sallow..... I put in so much work and this a month ago cam back to win the Wisconsin high school state championship.....
If you are looking to start fishing tournaments I would try the FLW BFL go to there website and check it out, see if there are some around your area, these are great tourneys to start with
Try to just use a power worm, but find the fish with a spinner bait like you said..... you will now know they are there, so then just slow down and focus, and you should start to catch em' this will give you confidence in them then, hope this helps
Has anybody ever used these before, and do they really work or does the trolling motor still get tangles up. Are lake is extremely weedy and we would like to prevent having to clean off the pro so much
I normally fish out of a boat on our lake where I live in the summer, but school just got out and we will only be up there on the weekends until my mom gets done with her teaching (there schools gets out latter)
I want to be fishing during the week, and there are some ponds where I live that are slews of the Mississippi in Wisconsin,
How should I fish these for the first time
What should I look for
What should I use
Can you develop a pattern in a pond
My dream is to compete for a college bass team, but does anybody know what are some of the recruiting insides and outs
For example
How do you go about getting a scholarship (it is unlike other sports where you can make a highlight video anybody can look good in a fishing highlight video right?)
If you are just getting new rods..... I would get Abu Garcia Veracity to use as a crank bait rod..... then I would get a verity of veritas and Vendetta with the rest of the money
We have a family friend that owns a Stratos boat, and he cannot say enough good things about it, he does how ever have a 150 on it, which pushes it very well..... as far as a 95 goes I feel like it would do just fine but it would not be as fast as it should
I would go with the Jon boat, it is a boat after all and I believe is more practically for fishing..... you can stand up in it after all, and when standing up while fishing you have better feel, I guess that could just be personally ideas, but I would go with the Jon
If you can not find one then I would start your own, I started a Student Angler Federation Club at our school here is the website
http://www.highschoolfishing.org/
I will take the jig with the craw trailer, and I will fish it around the open spots and in and out of the Lilly-pads and look for spawning beds till I got a solid pattern down.
I fish a lake that is over run with weeds, my best advice would be to try and use a jig and work it around and do not be afraid to through it in the weeds either
The other question I would like to know the answer to as well, but the third question..... I would suggest using a bigger presentation, or change up the color
I use Spider Wire for all of my types of line, I love there mono it is probably the strongest mono out there, I have one rod with Triline and I like that as well but when it is all said and done I believe that Spider Wire is hands-down the best
I own a 1975 Cougar Sea Sprite, I would like to mount a trolling motor on the front but my dad and I believe the fiber glass is too thin and would rip and crack when the pressure of a trolling motor are applied to it, I was wondering if anybody knew how thick the fiber glass is and could I mount a trolling motor on the front?
I have a transom mount trolling motor and would like one on the bow but it is just not possible I believe the fiber glass is to thin. But I want a foot control trolling motor. I stumbled upon this device that can use a hand control trolling motor and turn it into a foot control transom mount trolling motor..... I was wondering if anyone has used this if so what do you think of it was it worth the money saved by not buying a brand new transom mount trolling motor that is foot control
